I have an idea about remaking the abandoned game Conquered Hearts. I even have a new name for the game: Re:Conquered Hearts. I have a story line idea but i have some problem. I have no game making experience, I have some but out of date 3D modeling experience, and I don't know how to go about making the game or getting permission to remake the game.

My suggestion is for you to work on things on the following order:
1- Learn programming;
2- Learn how to write and keep design documents around;
3- Learn how to apply those two skills to game development;
4- Make a "legally distinct" game.
Alternatively, pay someone who can do those things.
