Today I want to talk about my first game I started to work on, please if you see anything wrong or
have any suggestions that can improve the game story/quality let me know it

Overview:
The Main Character is a simple worker who was accused falsely of a rape crime and went to jail for
over 3 years, but the girl who accused him didn't know what type of backgrounds the MC had; once out, the MC change his look and swear to get
his revenge with the most painful and heartbreaking ways.
you will follow the main character through his adventures and meet his new friends that he was able to make in jail,
and most importantly what the future is hiding for him.
(Your choices will affect the story)

I didn't think about having too routes, thank you for the idea !
i got one quick question about the routes, do i need to add a points system that will increase or decrease depending which answers/actions you make to decide which route the player will follow ? is this even possible with ren'py ?

yes, u can have variables in ren'py.

I would make it easy. instead of many variables that u need to remember, have as little possible.
maybe just 1 variable to tell if u are in the corruption or love.

example:
we create a variable "love" so, love = 0

depending on choices, it will increase or decrease. so +1 love is u pick an option that is more toward forgiving her or love her and -1 love if u are not forgiving her.

so, if love < 0 it means it below 0 and corruption if love >= 0 u are in the love route.
quite easy to remember.
or

if love >= 0:
jump loveroute1
else:
jump corrruote1

this is the main one.
inside the different scenes, u can have buttons to skip or not skip,
like, do I rescue her or let the hobo molest her? that will just start different routes, without the need to remember, if u are not using that later in a discussion or as consequences for future scenes. if so, u could have hobomolest = 1

Renders look pretty good and the premise seems interesting. I hope players will have the ability to explore just how much revenge they want to get. The main character (the guy in the second render) looks more interesting than we normally get in these games. Best of luck!

I will maybe make multiple routes depending on your actions (Evil and Good routes) where you decided to forgive or to take your revenge on X.

a friend told me the same thing, I've only added some beard and short hear .

I will post more renders once done that will avoid spoilers.

looking at the screenshot, it seems the 2nd guy is the one that got busted.

and I love the perspective, that we can read his thoughts and what he has in plan for the girl, if u pick the corruption route.
I love the slow corruption and bit by bit push her into the direction he plans.
