Well, in Kirstin game she understand, the errors of her way, and changed in the end... Errors that were never really shown in her game... Reminiscence is a PREQUEL, and, if I understand well, it's chronologically the first game of the series, the Kirstin here is still the War Demon Kirstin, and the author gave a pretty good explanation of her reasoning during this game...She is The War Demon here afterall, she only knew war and cruelty, in her twisted mind, what she did was a good thing. And the author reasoning seemed to work very well, seeing the popularity votes! Her redemption arc is her own game, that was released before this one, but happens chronologically later, which is weird, I know, but that is how prequels work.

What? Non canon scenes are always well accepted!!!! Kids this days not appreciating the best qualities of the amazing Taimanin saga, the WhatIf scenarios!!!!

I'm just saying, there is no redeeming that. that like some dude comes to your house and sells you into slavery and kills your whole family, but then years down the road realizes what they did was wrong and tries to do be a better person. what part of them trying to be a better person is going to excuse that they killed you family and sold you into slavery. You escape later by the help of a good person. you confront your guilty person and they say, "I'm sorry for what I did. I should have never done that." In this scenario, they didn't spend time with you and your family. there was no developmental bond from spending time together. you weren't betrayed by someone you grew to trust. the best thing they could have done is Kirstin not make it in time and not no where they took them or if they are even still alive, but we didn't get that. she is fully aware what she did and what her running away from what she tried to do could cause.

i was wondering why some people say this game get super dark like bruh i was hoping for meiri and pinel escaping ending but not the one we got at the end. this stuff is too depressing to be an H games

It seems the only canon events are what happens with the main characters of their own games.

Which, at least for Wein and Kirstin (don't remember the others), are all avoidable...."Virgin route" for the win xD

You are exaggerating A LOT! That example you made is so pointless, I hardly understand the analogy, she wasn't trying to do anything evil, just mercy from a soldier... But, if you really wanna make it work, you do understand that in the end of her game, Kirstin was ready to kill herself or concede herself to the dude (which is probably worse) to atone, right? There is literally nothing more she could do then that...And she only survives cuz she genuinely changed (as stated by her companions)! Her change doesn't mean that the Priestess have to love her instantly, The author already said that in the final game the Priestess will despise Kirstin, which is understandable, so probably (and hopefully) their reconciliation (that was already anticipated) will be something good and well written (and the little sister will resurrect 100%, the author isnt that brave)...

well you could say her wizard friend made her for get what happened to her after all she does not like for her freind to be hurt. i would think she would also interfear with pinal's plan to kill her but who know's. if the dev did go about bringing the little sister back i would take it the goddess helped to save her sister
