Thank you for the feedback, and sorry I missed this one! Would you mind sharing your system specs? I've seen a few people have issues with the videos, but I haven't been able to reproduce it on my end. I'm guessing that some configurations have issues with the video codec but I'm not sure. You might try the mobile version (if that's not what you already tried).
Win 10 Pro
CPU: Ryzen 7 7700
GPU: RX 6800
MB: B650M DS3H
RAM: 32 GB
all drivers are freshly updated

maybe its an FPS thing? there are some games, where more FPS means the game runs faster? idk, just brainstorming ^^

Thank you! It certainly shouldn't be a system spec problem. Could you try running some of the videos directly to see if they play ok? Inside the game folder, the videos are in game/images. I wonder if I've somehow exported them in a way that some systems don't like.

looks normal to me. But I think the transition from dialogue (lips moving) to idle animation might be choppy. For example you go from Intro_1.webm to some of the idle animations after the voice line finishes to wait for the player to progress the dialogue. But the last frame of Intro_1 is different from the first frame of the idle animation and then you see an obvious cut when the voice over stops. At least that is my suspicion. Or do you not see this in the intro on your end? like let the voice over play out and wait like 5 seconds before tapping the mouse button to progress to the next dialogue window.

If that is actually the issue, its gonna be a huge amount of work to fix it tho.

Thanks for verifying that the videos are working ok and explaining a bit further! If I understand correctly, I think that's just the change from the voiceover animation to idle animation. I might be able to mask it a bit with a fade, but I don't think I can get rid of it entirely since they're separate videos. It shouldn't be starting the next animation until you click unless you have auto-advance enabled (triangle at the bottom right). If that doesn't sound like what you're seeing, I can maybe post a screencap to see if we're seeing the same things.
