I will add in the skip time button on the next update. Thanks for putting so much time in it thats a great compliment in itself.

I think for the next version i will add in a little debugcheat menu for people who are interested in testing. Will probably launch that seperately on Discord.

Thanks again
That's awesome man!
And highly appreciated! :)
As is, if don't find a way to skip time currently, the MC wakes up at what, 8am, and goes to bed at 2:15pm after consumed all stamina otherwise. (ish, if doing activities to pass time) That's a LOT of sleep! ><

I saw someone else mention it. "Shortcuts" to get around the menus.
I didn't want to ask for too many things at once..
But I agree to some extent.. The menus themselves aren't "that" tedious",
but maybe a simple binding the <Backspace> to the "Return" button, will save some "wrist strain".
(back to previous sub-menu)
And avoid carpal tunnel syndrome for a couple more hours. ><
It'd go a mile towards menu comfort, until you get around to deal with that later down the line.
I wouldn't consider this a stressing issue though, as it's functional as is, especially for early stages.
There's a lot of other things that are more of a "pressing matter".

As for a debug menu. That feels like a sound idea for the time being, until things get a bit more fleshed out! :)

And trust me, I wouldn't have allowed myself spending that much time if I didn't see it as worthwhile. ><
So absolutely, it's a compliment towards your efforts and hard work! :)

Honestly, made me remember the college days being a paid external QA for games such as;
RA2, The Sims, D2, AVP and AVP2, to mention a few. ><

Looking forward to next version, to see what you can dish out! :)

Even with a slave, its impossible to get clean water and scrap, and do a quest. You run out of everything.

This is a weird one. But a tip never the less.
For some reason it has been working for me though.
First day, head right out and find the well.
Then scavenge once(this is likely all you'll be able to do)
If you get 3 water, you'll be fine.(on first day)
Otherwise, restart run, as it seems like the RNG gods will punish you for the rest of the run.

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

It's definitely something that needs balancing though, so I'm not making an excuse for it.

Clearly you have angered .

Joking aside, truly random outcomes with the water/scrap does mean that some players will get unlucky and be unable to progress the game.
There are different ways for the dev to handle this (or not handle it and let people suffer). I suggest implementing weighted random to the outcomes.
Something like:
If the player finds 0 units when scavenging, their next scavening attempt gets a +1 unit to the total results.

When using randomness in a single player game there can be a fine line between creating exciting unpredictability and making the game unplayble if you're unlucky.

Great advise. Well noted and will look into it!

Had another go earlier using a "near dead" 15 ish year old laptop I have laying about for "bed time pass the eff out" series watching.
(i5 3k 'm series. GTX 560ti. 8gb DDR3.)
Took a bit to get the game to run, windows being windows.. :p (possibly Unity being a pain too)
Getting same issues with saves on that one.

(my main is a R9 5900x, with a RX 7900 XTX, 64gb DDR4)
So it's not a"platform isolated" issue..

if I still had a spare PSU that isn't burned out, I'd test on a i7 6700k with a 2080ti as well.
But yeah. I ain't buying a new PSU for that!

And lastly, I'm on Win10 on all PCs.
I ain't touching Win11 even with a rotten stick for the time being! ><

Figured I'd update on that.
Otherwise I'm done for now until next update!

Hope you'll have a great weekend, and don't overwork yourself!
Make sure to get some "you time" and wind down a bit too.
And maybe kick back with a cold brewski!

Cheers BTW!

I have no clue how to progress with Kyra. I edited my save to so that her resistance is 0, her compliance is 100 and she is still refusing every training other the masturbation.

Also the days enslaved variable isn't going up, could that be the issue?

I have uploaded a playtester version of the next build on Discord that should tackle all the issues with saving and loading.

Feel free to test it:

Those that have problems saving in the game:

Go to you C drive. Users/<your name>/AppData/LocalLow/Drako Productions/Renegade Vault/
delete everything in there, including the saves folder. (keep this folder open)

Start the game..click the new game, skip opening, etc...
once you're in the vault and able to move around, pop into main menu by hitting 'esc' key.
Try make a save. click it a couple times to be sure...

exit the game, and go back to that folder mentioned above.
(Users/<your name>/AppData/LocalLow/Drako Productions/Renegade Vault/)

Open the Player.log in notepad.

once open, hit CTRL+F

in the search box,put into the search: [SaveSlotTemplate] Invalid date format in save slot 1

then hit the button "Find Next".

if you find that line, ANYWHERE, you likely have the same problem as me.
And if you do, it might be something that can get Drako closer to solving this, if it's a persistent issue..
(funny shit is, he use same date/time format as me, so it doesn't really make sense. but it's something!)

Plays like something akin to Masters of Raana+Wasteland Lewdness, but more basic at the moment.

A few things I don't like - ain't too into how the empty save file window text blends into the background. Not sure if the random in discovery of locations at the beginning is a very good idea – maybe it should be predetermined for the necessary ones. Stat tooltips exist but they are not very helpful.

As for the art - I don't mind AI images as much as some others do, some games can manage to use them well enough to work for me, like Pawn Pleasure, or Dancing Inn for example. But. Some images here are clearly stretched – too wide or too squished. For example, at Dustmere Rest screen – the character in a middle looks fine, but two to his sides are not, the gear next the the health bar, the thingy atop the character portrait (it would be nice to have a customizable one, btw)- there are many cases of this, and I do think its fixable, or at the very least avoidable in the future. These things are visible and tickle the eye in a very bad way.

One very good thing I like here a lot – the change in stats is highlighted after the actions, thats quite nice.

All and all, there is some potential in here, as long as the content will be added – a lot of it, and some flaws fixed. Could very well play it in a future again.
