A very simple Mod to make Ren'Py game text boxes transparent.
Note: Will not work with some games that deeply modify text boxes.

• Makes Ren'Py text boxes transparent.
• The text will be white and surrounded by black to make it more visible.

Installation:
Extract the file "ZTextBox-Transparent.rpy" into the "game" folder.

Thanks a lot for your mod made a small change to it for my own use, as I didn't like that it changed the textcolour to white and added a black surrounding to the name of the person speaking.
Added my version with credits as an attachment. Please let me know if there are any problems with how I did this.

Thanks, not all games are ported to android. so i'm doing my own ports, this helps a lot

I think that should be an option which can be toggled on or off. Maybe an .ini file can be used, to change that setting.

Any chance for a version which keeps the character screenshots/thumbnails there and only removes the background?
