Ren'py games 7.4 on Oracle VM Virtual Box

As anyone tried to run a ren'py 7.4 game on an oracle vm virtual box?
It keeps saying that the computer is running software rendering and the games does not start.
On older versions it used to give me a warning, but the game would run...

Ren'py is slowly dropping support for too old configurations, while adding support for newest ones. Therefore I guess that the problem come more from the virtualized OS, and/or its version, than from virtualBox itself.

Virtualbox has a very limited graphics card. I recommend using VMware for recent games and stuff like RPG maker. There's a free version for personal use. Windows 7 is definitely not the problem if you've upgraded to the latest service pack.
