If it's really "all Renpy games" and "now", then what have changed on your computer?Probably not the place for this, but here goes anyway. Anyone have any idea why any and all Renpy games are now just "crashing"? I say crashing, but there are no error messages or anything, I play for a minute or too, then poof, it closes.
If a Ren'PY game crashes, it should generate an error log which is written back to a .txt file called "log.txt" in your main game folder where the game executable (exe) is located.Probably not the place for this, but here goes anyway. Glad to hear that your problem has been resolved now Thanks for letting us know.Yeah, like 45 mins later, Nvidia popped up saying there was new drivers. Installed them and everything worked fine again. So far anyway. Just forgot to come back here and reply.
Well, I thought it was fixed, still doing it, (I work a lot, so, it's been a while since I've tried). Video drivers are up to date.Glad to hear that your problem has been resolved now Thanks for letting us know.
I'll see what I can find. Sorry if I'm slow to reply. My work schedule is a bit overwhelming, so free time is a luxury I don't have much of.Play with Task Manager open and see if you slowly run out of resources. Some lousy devs keep showing showing showing showing but never hiding, leading to memory leaks.
You could also change renderer (hold shift when you open the game).
I'll keep reading through it, but yeah, That's EXACTLY whats happening to me.another guy with a 14900k had the same problem. he couldn't fix it with our suggestions but maybe you can

Seen the symptom, Ren'Py is probably less guilty than Python, so I tried to dig a bit on that. And among the many thread complaining about the 14900ks unstability, I found confirmations regarding Python behavior on it:I'll keep reading through it, but yeah, That's EXACTLY whats happening to me.
