Renpy games open then close

Hi, whenever I open a renpy game it launches and closes itself. I have redownloaded renpy, updated/redownloaded visual c++ and DirectX. I can launch the renpy sdk on occasion if i go to compatibility and run as admin and disable Fullscreen optimizations. Im on the latest nvidia drivers.

I attached an video of what happens when i launch and the log for that game. Im on a laptop with a 3060 i7-12700H. This is an issue across all games.

just a shot in the dark but unplug any external devices (like the mentioned xbox controller in the log) and see if it helps

The only external devices i got is a razer mouse, headset and keyboard but ill try.

Its the keyboard, that's the only new peripheral i got recently and it launches fine. Im using the Razer Huntsman V2 Tkl so idk how that affect it but huh

Yep, but now im trying to see what the reason for it is. As the headset and mouse dont interfere but the keyboard does.

Its a keyboard/usb port issue, i swapped around which ports the keyboard was plugged in at and solved, so it seems that my razor keyboard plugged in on one of my usbs breaks it.

might need to wait for a fix or for support to be added not sure though

lots of internet hits on it being detected as a controller for using its analog input thing in games. a common suggestion appears to be to

Made a mistake and its the v3 pro version, but im not experiencing any issues when its plugged into a different usb currently.
