Only Ren'Py (half of all games) can't be launched, no errors are prompted. Unity and PRGM games all work.
I used windows 10 sandbox with MRDA (default sandbox GPU) and even without DirectX Ren'Py games worked, but when I used vGPU in windows 10 sandbox they wouldn't launch.

Drives are updated.
What worked for a lot of people with the same issue is holding the shift key to change Ren'Py rendering settings but for me the settings menu didn't open.
Any other way to change Ren'Py rendering settings? Got any other solutions?

Ok, this is new and interesting.

Same for the log files that clearly stops when Ren'Py is starting the its "rendering" part.
When you let Ren'Py choose by itself, it fail when it come to get the screen size, but after it asked PyGame to create the screen surface. It's when Ren'Py ask PyGame for the size of the physical or drawable surface that it silently die.

Honestly I don't see what we can do to help you. It really seem like an purely internal error that happen with a given, and rare, (GPU/GPU driver) configuration. Therefore a bug in Ren'Py itself.

You should report directly to PyTom (Ren'Py author), either on its , or the . Insist on the fact that it really happen for many game, else he will focus on the fact that the logs are for the version 7.4.11 that starts to be old, and risk to discard the issue.
If you achieve to have logs for a version 7.5.x (the 7.5.3 would be great) or 8.x (8.0.3 preferably), use them instead, and tell that it happen with previous versions, like the 7.4.11 by example.

Can you link me some games that use 7.5.3 and 8.0.3 versions? I tried downloading a few from different years but can't get any from 7.5.x or 8.x
