I looked at the game. The auto translator didn't work, so I didn't understand everything. I have seen games made in VaM using Renpy. They were mostly linear and almost always took place in the same location. But at the same time the picture was good and the characters looked great. If you make a game in VaM because it's easy, then it doesn't matter what the graphics will be, the main thing is to realize your ideas. Although I know that VaM can create a fairly realistic appearance and the very picture for the game. I read other comments and I hope that the game will turn out to be made. Since you already have experience, it will be much easier. For example, I made one of my games even without a background, just with some characters. Link to one of the games below, for example, if you want to read.

You can get VaM through Patreon, so it's not completly free. The teaser version is 2 euro's. This is a basic version, which I can't really recommend. It's just a teaser version. Then you have the Entertainer version. In this version you can download scene's what other people build. You can also save and change scene's but you can't create any animations, add objects, atoms and many other things.

And then you have the creator version. This version only cost 7 euro's and with this package, you will unlock the full software.

VaM comes with a own launcher, so even if you don't support their Patreon, you will still receive all the updates for free! So, basically, you only have to pay once.

As for all the assets, it depends on the creator. Many creators doesn't mind if you use their assets, but always contact them. For own use, you can all use it. But for own commercial use, contact the creator first.

Many creators also have their own Patreon. For example, people who make clothing. You pay for example 2 bucks and you unlock their assets.

Some say that you can use their assets, as long you pay their Patreon, other want to get a shout out in the credits.

The community is also very relaxed and many do help you. Their are also amazing plugins which make working with the software way easier. Tons of tutorials just like DaZ.

Here are some new renders i've made recently. They are made in 9K resolution, so feel free to click on the picture and zoom in to see all the little details on the skin and such. I only messed up a bit with the depth of field.

Also check my other topic with renders.

VAM has come quite a ways since this thread was started. If anyone is still watching the thread, I have a question:
I've seen some decent games on F95 that use VAM (Life of Desmond, for example), and I wanted to know if there was any way to find a list of games that use VAM. I've tried to search the matter on this site, but so far, no luck -- ?

No, I think not since VaM is not categorized on this website. I think it falls under "Unity", since VaM works on the unity engine.

I came very far with VaM at this moment, this is what i've made in 8k. This is still Genesis 2, since VaM 1.x only support Genesis 2.

And

This was more of a test, i've cranked up the light sources above the default settings. Fully rendered in 4k, with 4k high res realtime reflections and 8 light sources. You can see that my computer struggles a little bit. Recorded with a I9 14900kf and RTX 4080.

I also made this just for fun, it's not perfect but I never made a video like this in my whole life. First time.
