Hey B i have a few questions about Rental Cam they are below.
First question
What’s the actual difference between Bond/Lust Points i was assumed Bond points would lead to a Romantic Relationship between the MC and which Girl he pursued such as Kim and Lust Points would just lead to sex between the MC and the girls is that what you had planned?

Second Question
I was wandering will certain characters will have a antagonistic character that will cause drama for the MC when you pursue one or the other such as Bailey and Izzy and i was wondering is Kim’s antagonistic character is going to be Emma?

To explain it in the most basic terms, we can define a bond as attachment and trust. Not only in romantic relationships, but also in everyday situations, starting with tolerance for your presence, to a path of needing your presence. And since each character's trust relationship will be different, viewing it solely as a romantic relationship might be a bit narrow. Some show it by asking you for more advice, while others show it by being patient with you in a situation where they would normally get angry, or some may show it by simply embracing you without saying a word when they're in a difficult situation. And we can say that these behavioral differences tend to be more pronounced in more urgent or chaotic situations.

Lust, basically, shows how attracted that character is to you. This is clearer than the bond because the biggest counterpart means more lewd scenes with that character. But there are also different dimensions to that attraction. One character's desire for you may increase as their jealousy grows, while another may want to pursue a relationship with you directly. Since I designed each character's commitment type and emotional expression differently, there will be different outcomes from just lewd scenes. And while bond points may lead to more romantic interactions, if you're on the verge of actually starting a relationship with a character, their attraction to you will also be one of the key points. If you only increase your bond, you may end up in the friend zone with some characters when relationship opportunities arise. But I want to implement this not as a one-time proposition, but in a way that allows you to try again later even if the character rejects you. I don't want you to have to start over just because a character rejected you after spending hours in a gameplay session.

As for the second question, absolutely! I tried to keep certain main NPCs as tight-knit as possible. But that doesn't mean everyone's relationship will be exactly the same as Bailey and Izzy's current situation. We can consider Emma to be Kimberlee's antagonist, yes. But the dynamic between them is evolving through their work. Emma is constantly trying to outdo Kimberlee, and when she eventually realizes your value to Kimberlee, she'll be after you as a cameraman. But Emma's sole purpose isn't just to be Kimberlee's rival. If you can break through her cold exterior, you'll also get to see her struggles and worries. The same applies to Bailey and Izzy. Izzy's goal is not to just pick on or annoy Bailey. In fact, as will be learned later, Kimberlee and Izzy are oldest friends. Bailey came later and feels guilty about driving them apart. Izzy feels ashamed towards Kimberlee for joining the rival agency, and Kimberlee feels regret and remorse for not being able to mend the rift between her friends. If you decline Izzy's offer to film a video, you go for a walk in the park instead of having sex, and there Izzy asks you questions about it and shows signs of her concerns. During this walk, you also learn that Emma had been trying to recruit Bailey for quite some time. But there aren't many dramas left over from such old events among all the main NPCs. As a clash of different characteristics, there are scenes that I developed somewhat spontaneously. For example, in the v0.1.8 I'm currently working on, Sabrina visits the house and something happens between her and Mia. It was supposed to be just a scene with Sabrina, but it turned into an extra scene with thousands of words. So not all characters may have an direct antagonist. As I solidify the connection between them in my mind over time, I will also be able to see more. And I hope I can implement these elements properly into the game.

Damn B you are writing one of the most thorough well defined games i have played in a while so far Kim has hooked my MC I love that they are college friends and i can see them becoming a couple.I also noticed as well that while pursueing Kim that the interactions with Bailey/Izzy almost seem like the MC/Kim were Parent’s dealing with their two unruly, emotional Daughters lol.

Also i was wondering during a dialogue the MC talks about a conversation he had with Kimberlee about the MC being willing to be in a Romantic Relationship with a Transwoman but that doesn’t make sense because the MC didn’t know Oliver had become Kimberlee he was expecting Oliver when they reunited in the cafe.It would have made more sense if that conversation was with Oliver instead while still in college instead of Kimberlee.

Also I’m was wondering what is the best movie night choice were for each character?
Kimberlee -???
Bailey-“Comedy/Drama”
Mia-“Horror”
Izzy-???

Keep up the great work B you really have a banger here the characters and writing are great and i like the idea that Friends/Friendzone are going to be in the game too it helps increase replayability so i will aim to Friendzone every character that i’m not pursuing in each PT.

I may not have expressed it well enough there. That conversation was with Oliver, back in college days. And I looked at that text now, and it really seems like it happened quite recently. I changed it to make it clearer. Thank you for the contribution!

Kimberlee is definitely like the maternal figure of the house. The members of the household see her as a friend, a leader, and someone they can lean on. I try to reinforce this dynamic in many small details.

Also, Izzy loves emotional dramas, while Kim loves action movies the most. At first, very old arthouse movies were going to be added as her favorite. Then I thought it would be funnier if she enjoyed movies that were pure action, with plots that didn't even make sense. So I changed the old arthouse movies to be another main NPC's favorite. It might show up at the next movie night.

Each movie selection changes the morning conversations with Bailey and the movie night dialogues during that day's visit to Izzy. If you choose drama, Bailey orders all of that author's books. Just like Izzy did. And the same book sets are present in both homes. There will be some stuff about that. Well, nothing huge, but some extra dialogue.

Heyo. Out of curiosity, any spoilers or estimate when the MC can potentially start on the path of being a working gal themselves?

Asking for a friend.

The friend is me.

Frankly, one of the biggest things my first game taught me was not to give estimates too early. Creating an expectation and then failing to meet it on time can really demoralize me, so I apologize, but I can't give you a timeframe right now.

I was wondering will there be any conflicts that arise based on your MC’s Romantic choices? Also I was wondering B why didn’t you have an option to refuse Baileys handjob after her Video I mean you did give The MC the option to turn down Izzy but not Bailey If you are actively pursuing Bailey the Handjob would be ok then but not if you are not pursuing her at all.I was just wondering B keep up the great work.

Yes, there will inevitably be some conflicts due to romantic choices. Of course, this will depend on who you choose. Some will say they want to keep the relationship secret, while others will announce it everywhere. Interactions will also vary depending on the characters' bonding types. In fact, if things progress with someone from the other house, my plans even include asking you to move into that house. But since each relationship can bring its own workload, like a separate path, I'll probably focus on the relationship paths of the most popular characters first. The good part is that I can enrich each path later on with suggestions and ideas that I had in mind.

The second question is actually quite reasonable. The key difference is that, unlike the other characters, Bailey isn't willing to ask you something, wait patiently for your answer, and accept a potential rejection. In fact, she's the worst at dealing with rejection in the entire game. That's why I always try to give her that hurried and impatient attitude when she wants something. There are also two scenes in v0.1.6 and v0.1.8 where she never knocks on the door and just barges right in. Even in the scene in v0.1.8, if you say you don't want to join them for ice cream, she tugs you by the arm and drags you out of your room.(In a friendly manner, but still.)

In her insistence in the handjob scene, what she had in mind was to see the MC's penis and do him a "favor.” And you probably know how tiresome a truly persistent person can be. Still, despite everything, you're right that the MC could have been given the option to refuse. I wasn't taking an overly conscious stance like, “I won't add such a choice here!” However, Bailey usually doesn't give the other side an opening to reject her. You have to say no to her a few times, maybe lightly push her hands away, and make the situation much more tense than it needs to be. Maybe that's why it didn't occur to me to add a rejection option there.

After her fight with Izzy, she's trying to improve in this area, but she only seems to be aware of it when it comes to things she considers more “important.” When you first went to visit Izzy, if you hadn't said you had personal stuff, Bailey would have kept insisting. And this insistence isn't like a child whining in one spot. She would have tried to tempt you, set some conditions, and made promises. She'd keep pushing as long as she got what she wanted. And Kimberlee advised you to tell her you had personal business because she knew that. Given the overall structure of the game, adding a rejection option there isn't illogical, but I might prefer to leave it as is because it reinforces Bailey's hasty and difficult-to-reject attitude.

Thanks for replying B In regards to Bailey I see her mostly like she is just a spoiled kid thats used to getting her way all the time lol.
And seeing as my MC is only interested in pursuing Kim I think the house dynamics are like Parents “MC/Kim” trying to deal with a overly spoiled child “Bailey”.
