Sometimes if a game is encrypted you won't be able to actually go in and apply the patch. That can be resoled however if you actually own a copy of it by using the DLSite Authentication cracker that is posted on this site. If you look for it, it is pretty easy to find. If you crack the game you should be able to then apply the translations worst case scenario. If the data files ARE accessible to you the even better. You don't even need to crack it then at it is for your personal use.
