so errors like that from my experience are difficult to get past. you just have to close the game and open it up and try the scene that was playing again and again until it doesn't pop up. same thing if it happens when you try to start the game. the whole game is pretty buggy.

I used a windows 7 VM and got it to work...it was the only thing that worked because whatever fix I tried on my real machine simply refused to work. so other than using windows 7 (jp) vm....no can do. I do suspect it's something having to do with "videos"
