Unity Resource for getting rigged models usable in Unity?

Hello, am a game dev with plenty of programming experience but very little art experience. I can use the animation system in Unity without too much difficulty, but the hardest part for me is getting the models and the rigs. I’ve been on smutbase already and looked around here but closest I’ve found are blender files which I have difficulty exporting properly without stuff just breaking or being scuffed. I have 0 blender experience so a blender file with a rig is close but I don’t really know how to make it work correctly, my attempts have given me broken assets with missing textures and parts of the model.

it’s ok for now for developing my systems until I have a demo ready but all the animation work I do is forfeit once I swap the model/rig for something else. Is there a resource for finding rigged models which can be imported Unity and animated in engine that I’m missing? Or, is there a consistent way of exporting models found on smut base or here from blender to Unity without things getting exported untextured and unorganized? Thanks.

To me the solution seems obvious: Learn Blender. What's stopping you from doing that? There are even branches of Blender that are *even* more easy ("Blender for artists") than the official latest ones (Which have gotten easier compared to old ones).

And why are you using smutbase anyway? Want anime style? Use Vroid. Want realistic style? Use Daz.

Also, .blend files are supported by Unity as-is, no need to export anything.

-edit-
Mixamo has a way to rig your humanoid characters for free, and there are plugins for Blender that also rig your characters.

I have to say when I say I know ‘nothing about blender’ there’s a caveat, I actually do have some education on Maya and the truth is… I just kinda loathe the process of making 3D models. Reaaaally don’t like it. I like programming, I like making documentation and design work, creative writing, audio design out and in engine, hell playing piano is fun so music I guess, but the *one* thing in game development I just actually have 0 fun doing is modeling. Specifically modeling, UV unwrapping and texturing aren’t so bad and I haven’t gotten the chance to do rigging because I never got to that point I was only ever making props in school but it doesn’t look that bad.

The fact so many people actually enjoy modeling is a wonder to me using Maya is my least favorite thing to do and yeah blender isn’t the same but still…

So, if I can find any way to not have to do that, that would be nice, although, yeah I may just have to bite the bullet on that one…

Thank you for letting me know .blend files are usable in Unity I feel kinda dumb for not trying that. Also for telling me about Vroid and Mixamo I will be checking those out.
