Reverse NTR

Is this where the usual Dom males come to steal the female protagonist and instead unleash her inner fem Dom capabilities to instead all end up as her subs?
So the short answer is I think you have the wrong idea in general what reverse NTR is, but I'm not positive I understand the best what you mean by that, so I'll try my best to answer what I think. Please feel free to clarify though if this doesn't answer your question.

I'll use Confession Game as an example because it fits the definition very well. In that game, there are "no" male characters trying to steal the females. You play as a male main character, with mostly a female character that is kind to you you want to confess to (basically, very similar to your partner, but you aren't together yet). There are 3 other girls who are trying to seduce you and make you confess to them instead, giving up on your love. The more you resist, the more aggressive the females get with their seduction tactics as the days go on. If you hold out to the end, you reject them all and be with your love. If not you basically cheated (or in this case, gave up) and will be with them instead (you let them seduce you). The endings vary depending on when and where you get seduced or if you make it to the end not giving into temptation. In this way you can "kind of" see it as the male mc is submissive if he gives in to temptation, and the females trying to steal you are acting kind of dominant. But I must stress, the submissive/dominance doesn't exactly fit the idea of these games.

Males can be seduced, like being teased, and being like "you're not getting away now" and in that way, they are still being very dominant. The point of the ntr/reverse ntr games is who is doing the stealing. In most NTR (netorare specifically) games, men are in a relationship with a female character, and some other side character (not the MC you're playing) is either competing with you for your girl, tempting her away from you, making her cheat, or outright turning you into a cuckold depending on the game.

Hence you throw in the word "reverse" to signal the opposite is going on in some way. In many cases, when you throw the word "reverse" into a tag, it means switching genders. Therefore, many people would take the opposite of netorare to mean you're playing a female mc instead of a male mc, and another girl is competing with you for your man, tempting him to cheat behind your back, making him cheat, or turning you into a cuckquean (although be careful with the cuckolding and cuckquening, as if it's consensual, that's netorase, not netorare, as it's based on consent there).

However, netorare comes from Japanese which gender has nothing to do with. The above case literally is still "netorare", not reverse netorare if you're trying to be technical. It would also include futa, lesbian, and gay relationships too. But some people may be looking for specifically the gender reversal with tags, and end up calling it reverse NTR thinking specifically this in mind.

But if you look this up online at other places, like vndb and other stories and such, it'll go by definition I listed as 1. The "reverse", or opposite of what's going on is that instead of your love interest being potentially stolen, it is you (the mc) who is potentially being stolen. This is also more true to the word (because again, NTR has nothing to do with gender). So basically, any game where you're in a relationship with a character, and other characters are trying to be with you behind your love's back, that's that definition of reverse NTR.

This is why with your question, I feel it doesn't quite match. The males can be dominant or submissive, so can the females, since NTR doesn't define how males and females should act. You are probably more likely to see submissive men and dominant females in these games though, since men are mostly giving up their control to cheat with someone else, but again, not strictly so. But there's also no um... those ones tempted end up turning it back around on the tempters. So for example, if your wife in a game had a um... coworker that was trying to have sex with her behind your back. That alone is NTR. How that wife decides to treat the man in return if/when she has sex with him is story related and I don't know any tags for that other than looking for what genders are dominant and what genders are submissive.
