No, nothing in game. Just an animated scene at the end of each level and picture cg scenes for each beacon you find

You'd be better off going to itch, Discord or whatever and asking the devs directly. Quick look says v 1.2 (adjusting the difficulty in various ways) came out 2 months ago as of this writing so there certainly is no self-evident reason to assume they wouldn't make further tweaks or fixes down the road.
