Ren'Py - Ring of Lust [v0.6.0c] [Votan]

Review of version 0.0.5a

A decent game that gets ruined by an unbelievably tedious grind. At one point, I thought the game was completed because nothing was happening. Fortunately, I looked in the game folder and saw that there were many animations that I had not seen yet. More grinding, grinding, grinding... ehhh I think I'll go play something else.

Overall I give this an average rating, but despite the painful painful English translation and awkward writing (I'm assuming mostly due to translation) I still found myself enjoying the game.
True, more grinding than I prefer. But I found myself liking the female characters. And for the most part the renders are above average to very good.
I hope the script and the English improve dramatically, but I know I am looking forward to seeing more of this game.

renders are okay
writing and dialogue are absurd on top of that with broken english. on top of that dev tries to use complicated words like he is shakespeare or somthing when he cant stitch together 2 basic sentences.
stupid grind

Bullshit game, misleading tags, useless grindfest, poor content, barely any content, poor writing, this is a complete waste of time,falls flat on any line of text right from the start, no ammount of future updates can cover this nonsense.

The renders look good, the gameplay is straightforward and the scenes are pretty hot. Only downside is that it takes A LOT OF GRINDING to progress with this game. Even if you'd use unren.bat to max the scores, it still takes a couple of hours to get from one scene to the next.

Gameplay C No bugs, pretty sensible, pretty simple. A bit bitchy on the scoring tho', nothing unren can't fix.
Writing B Fun plot, akin to Glassix, well written, sexytime text pretty hot. On caveat, text description seems off in a few places, like describing the BJ without advancing to a more applicable image. The off-set was glaring.
Sex scene B+ Pretty good BJ scene to include at least SOMETHING in an 01.
