I would like a no sub version but still thank you as always (y)
It has soft ass sub so doesn't matter (no, hard ass sub is not a real thing :Kappa:), you can turn it off.
He still did the color space conversion wrong though.
And the audio is re-encoded while it can just be remuxed.

I used to think the same way, but like the other poster said pirates wouldn't buy it anyway. There is a portion of people that would buy it if there was literally no other way to get the content. But we're talking about unknown artists here who barely have 10 subscribers.

There is a publicity effect when it comes to piracy, whereby your content and name is more known and exposed to more people. Which DOES pick up sub counts along the way. If your content is the type that is leaked an hour after posting then your sub count is likely really large anyway and you're making good money on the content already.

I think we crunched the numbers in this thread before and Rinhee is making a really good wage for a Japanese person. The 'can live in an expensive apartment in Tokyo' kind of wage. At least I think it was Rinhee.

Which isn't to say he shouldn't make more, but we aren't talking struggling and starving artist here. This is like when multi millionaires Metallica complained about piracy when their albums still moved millions of units. I personally just don't buy music, but I do have an extensive Iron Maiden collection. My daughter loves Iron Maiden. That's generational exposure for a band, and it's all because I was able to get it for free. Piracy also preserves old video games. So there's positives to it all.

TYSM for the large uncompressed file with subs. I usually compress his stuff using AV1 to massively save on space. And I like doing it with MKV to toggle subs.

So it's nice to get it all in one go. For anyone wanting a smaller file I'll start compresing it and post it when done.
here's another point of view

i used to diligently support many of artist be it mmd, art, etc

however, since i found kmono and other pirate sharing site,i no longer support those artist anymore, even tho i can.
because i know that it will be pirated hours after or even right after it was released, so there's really no benefit for me other than self gratification.
i'd rather use the money to support other which the product are hard to find or not pirated anywhere.

which of course lead to reduced income for those artist.

now using the same argument of "there's a chance of other people who will support after finding the author through piracy" there's also a chance that just like me, people who initially supporting author became no longer supporting them, or even people who intended to support it, but found that the item was pirated somewhere and it made him no longer want to support it.

i am not against people pirating items, its just the timing which posting just right after the item released really reducing people's interest in supporting artists. especially with today's economic conditions.

He already decided what game is the next girl? Is granblue?
He used to have a vote for next character, but then, I read that he'll stop and just do what he wants (which I would've preferred). Then it somehow became a "vote for the series and I'll choose the character" from what I read here. Guess too many people commented that they didn't like that they couldn't choose so he relented a bit

Noir in AV1 format. As always, used the 2.5GB version for compression. Included Korean and English subs. MKV format.

Final size is 250MB.

I don't disagree. I also don't think it's one or the other. Piracy leads to increased viewership and name recognition, which can lead to picked up subscribers along the way. But you'll also lose subscribers who would otherwise pay for content they really want but can't get. The question is, in the aggregate, are you growing or getting smaller?

The people you pick with recognition are supporters that do so because they actually support you even if they can get it for free. And those are lasting subscribers. Given theo and rinhees hefty revenue streams I'd say in the long run you win rather than lose. You lose the less dedicated subs but given the wide exposure you win the longer lasting ones.
