K, so rather than even attempt to try and answer ALL that -- I'll jsut clarify things a bit. Ain't complaining about the time it takes to *make* the mod. There IS a lot of time and effort involved, and sometime that takes a bit to implement. What I *am* a bit piqued over is the fact that unlike previous modders, this one chooses to hold back the mod after completion. Granted, that's his right. And it's our right to complain about it when it differs from the behavior of previous modders of this game. Longtime players get used to a certain order of things, ya know? I'm much more likely to support a modder who releases mods asap after completion and bugtesting, than one who holds it back for *X* number of days afterward. The games themselves are one thing: that's commonplace, normal, and clearly scheduled, so we either wait for public release or grab it when it gets leaked here.
Mods on the other hand, are most often released once they're done and tested, so the modder can move on to their next mod project. That's how the modders I'm most familiar with generally handle their mods: the hangtime is in the production, not the release schedule. And those are the modders that I generally support when I'm actually able to do so, because they're doing their best to provide a quality product in a timely manner and I appreciate that. So when I do have money to spend on Patreon, those are the modders who get that money.
TL/DR, since this turned into a novel: I respect the time it takes to *develop* the mod and playtest it. Holding back after it's done, THAT is what irritates me, because the few modders I can ever afford to support don't do that -- they don't have time. They post the one that's done and go on to the other 10-15 or so that are still waiting in the pipe. And that's how this game had previously been modded -- mod gets done, mod gets posted, modder goes on to next project. So, yeah, hangtime at this point annoys me. But hey, I'm jsut an old goat, what do I know.
Ain't nobody reading that goon bible

It is what it is and there's nothing anybody can do about it, live with it and wait for the time being or ignore it and use alternatives. Ain't complaining for something that's been paywalled TEMPORARY and will be released here afterwards anyway, so why trying to make a big deal out of it when it's not even a issue at all.

And just to mention, it is only 36 hours unlike some others who lock their Mod away for whole 3 Days before they publish it.

I'm curious. Does the incest patch actually make sense? or does it hamfist it in and break continuity with the storyline? I can't remember if the game was created with incest in mind or not.

Is this the wincest one or the vanilla version? or is the patch included in that one as well?
Vanilla is just that, plain, no incest for those that want the multi-mod but not the i patch. It'll take him a little longer to make the incest version.

The incest patch does make sense. Jester did frame the story along typical incest game tropes but didn't code it to take a blank file to replace names, he wrote it to make sense around the non-familial story line. Because of that Lightman goes through the script and rewrites portions for the incest to make sense while still honoring Jester's narrative. Due to that it takes him a little longer to update it and why he attempts to make a little money for the time and effort he puts into it while also trying to honor the fans by making the mod available very quickly.

I understand both sides (players and modders), Ripples is a VERY popular game, cashing in on the hype is the smartest thing to do. If it was only 24 hours instead, it would have been better imo.

If the public release have any changes (most likely bugfixes) I will replay it again (speedrun it with tab :KEK:)

"Cashing in?" It's a lot of work, takes time, and LP is entitled to get a little money off of that effort. If you don't want to pay it, like me, then wait the day and a half until it's free. Why is this hard to understand? If you want to "cash in" then by all means, try it yourself.
