What it is:
A mostly linear VN with a nice story, memorable characters and hot as fuck scenes.

I enjoyed this immensely.

I mean holy shit. This game has been reviewed 157 times already and almost all of them are 5 star reviews. The masses have spoken and this time they're definitely right.

I don't feel the need to make a long detailed review about this project because if you're wondering whether or not you should play this, my simple answer to you would be yes you should. Definitely yes.

If any of the VN's tags appeal to you, or if you enjoy loooking at gorgeous (and plenty dirty) renders and animations then download and try this game right now.

The only people I wouldn't recommend this game to are those of you out there who must have chunky milfs with ridiculous cup sizes in your VN's to get off. Or if what you're after is a slow-burn romance story with lots of hand holding and long walks on the beach. This VN is less sugar sweet and more adult tasting, if you catch my drift. But even then, if you're one of those people you might still enjoy Ripples just for the story.

About the story:
There's time travel and shit. And there's a sneaking suspicion that you might be the father of one of your love interests.
It's a porny version of Back to the Future, and it definitely works.
I appreciate being given the opportunity to play as an unapologetic horndog. I've played so many games where I'm forced to play white knight, or spineless door mat that when I get the option to go dark side butt pirate, I will. The game doesn't often reward this kind of behavior, but there's some scenes in here you can reach by going this path that are just hottness incarnate. If you're into that kind of stuff. And even if you aren't, there's probably something in here that you will find hot as fuck. It caters to a wide audience. (Check the tags)
All in all, it's quality stuff!

It is a nice game with a quite interesting story (I really like the paradoxes in stories) and good visuals. I recommend it 100%. I have played version 0.4.1 and I haven't noticed any bugs or any performance issues (playing on an old laptop with 950GTX)

Great game! At first I didn`t know what to expect, but once you start playing it has a great story with a smooth pace, likeable and relatable characters, and overall a very warming and enjoyable atmosphere. You will be left wanting more. Thank you to the creator and hope they can continue.

Totally worth a play through. Great visuals with an engaging story line, and a humor that I mostly get.
Love that this VN doesn't sole focus on one breast type but has a happy variety of very petite to buxom, something for all of us.

I'm always fascinated by the concept of "messing with time" (whether it be time travel or time loop), and Ripples certainly offers me a pleasant surprise. If you have watched the German TV show "DARK" on Netflix, you will find that the game is obviously inspired by this (MC mentioning the town called Winden, the similarities of story plot...), and so far it has treated this concept of time travel pretty well to the point that I would rather see more stories than lewd scenes.
Speaking of the game itself: character arcs are very well crafted which makes you care every girls you've met. I still don't know how the developer will balance between multiple paths (especially harem paths since we are literally messing with girls from past to present days), but I have good faith about that. The animation, especially in lewd scenes, is surprisingly well done, considering the choice of using character models that are deem "outdated" (at least in my opinion) compared with models like BAD. Music and sound effects are also used properly.
The only worry I would have will be how to balance the interaction between different girls in future episodes: In modern times we have , and in the past we have . The number of girls is quite gigantic in my opinion and I've already seen the developer might have hard time balancing, such as keeping out for the moment. But we will see more of that in the future and as I say I have good faith that things will work out eventually.
Overall, amazing game with unique concept and engaging story, couldn't recommend more.

Ripples is a time travel mystery with some of the best sex scenes out there, and a plot that somehow overshadows them. There are several points where I noticed things in the background or had theories in my head as to what's really going on, even with how high quality the sex scenes are, I found myself wanting the game to get back to the actual plot because I was so eager to find out more about the world and its characters.

And the sex scenes really are high quality! Probably the best showcase of Honey Select models and animations that I've seen on this site. The models and animations are well executed, the jiggle physics are sexy instead of silly, no clipping issues (your dick actually opens up the pussy rather than just phasing into it!). This is on top of actual physics for the clit and labia during cunnilingus, something I'm not sure I've ever seen so well done (though the clit does act too much like a joystick). There are also sound effects during sexual scenes that enhance them greatly.

The large cast of characters as well as the overarching plot mean that this game doesn't have the time to slowly build up relationships with the girls. The dialogue and characterization are still excellent but things will usually get physical within a few interactions with any given character. I usually prefer slow burn type stories but all other aspects of this game are so good that I don't even mind it, I'd probably want to play it even if it didn't have any sexual content.

Engaging storyline. Models are gorgeous and the animations are fantastic. I am through Chapter 3 so far and am really loving this VN!!

My hope is that the dev will finish out the story without getting bored and making it feel rushed as time-travel plots can become very complicated. I'm looking forward to see what else the dev comes up with with subsequent releases for this title and hopefully other future projects.

One of the funniest games I've played. Really love to see a game with distinct and interesting character. This game certainly has strong anime vibes as well, but it handles all the tropes well. No complaints for it's style or story, although I think the plot moves a bit too slowly in chapters 3 and 4 on account of so many characters being introduced so quickly at the beginning.

The character models are really well done and the animations are phenomenal. Despite that, I got weirded out by the look of Darcie. She's a bit too small and girlish, but the main thing is the paleness and lack of features for her face and hair. Although, I admit it actually makes her so much more comical, but she really looks like an alien in the first few chapters.

Wow, this game gives "Once in a Lifetime "a run for it's money, and that is one of my favorites. Thanks to the "13 games" for recommending it. I usually pass over games early in development, but there is enough content here already for a few solid hours(4 episodes for now).

Girl models are solid ,you have variety of types and looks, no one girl feels like a clone . Animations are also adjusted, so you rarely notice stock HS animations over the creative camera angles and some custom movements.
That coupled with decent writing, relationship build-up and some taboo themes make for some pretty hot sex scenes .

MC doesn't have much color yet, he's just usual thick-skinned(apparently majority of girls around him were crushing on him, and he only now started to notice) handsome dude with big dick. But I except some character growth due to all the time-travel shenanigans.

So far nothing serious in the main plot, you don't have any bad consequences or major decisions, like Butterfly Effect , but actors are in place , and signs are there, so I'm hopeful

For now, I can safely recommend this to any fans of harem genre.

This review is my small part of showing dev some love, wish you successfull project completion!

Edit: After playing V0.6.0 with the remake I'm say that it's perfect now. It was worth the waiting.

This game is one of the best game I have played on this site, if not the best, I love the time travel plot, it makes me interested in the story not only the sexual content, here is my opinion:

Background music (10/10): I really like it, not also that, I like the fact that there is moaning voices during the sex scenes, which gives life to the scene, and also it sounds very hot XD.

Renders and sex animations (1000/10) : the best I have seen till now, even better than "a house in the rift" which is also one of my top 10, I love how the small details are captured during sex scene which makes it very realistic.

Characters (10/10): The characters are gorgeous, each with their interesting personality, and are fun to talk with, Darci is absolutely my cup of tea, I fell in love with her at first sight, and I love her personality. (very cute ＞︿＜)

Story (X /10): can't really decide yet, as the game is still very short, but up till now, I'm very interested in it, as I said before, I love the time travel theme.

Game UI (10/10) : stunning.

Dialogues(9/10): I really enjoyed speaking with the other characters and didn't have to skim read through it, like some other games, the dialogues are funny and keeps you interested, without any nonsense and boring dialogues, but I'm going to give it 9 instead because, of some stupid lines the MC says during sex. XD

Conclusion: this game is on the top of my top 10 games on this site, I highly recommend it.

I almost stopped playing this game at first. Some of the initial encounters seemed completely unrealistic, with everyone and their grandmothers (yes, literally) throwing themselves at you. I'm so glad I kept playing, though. This game is SO GOOD. The animation is among the best I've ever seen. The characters are all beautiful, well written, and become much more believable shortly after the game's introduction. The story, however, somehow shines even brighter than everything else. Each episode keeps you on the edge of your seat, and I can't wait for future updates.

It has everything, amazing story, characters, sound effects, renders, animations, sex scenes, good dialogue that also can be funny at times. I really can't find much wrong with this game, definitely top 3 on this site.

This game is nearly perfect for me. The animations, girls and setting is amazing quality. Hoping the quality continues. Sad the updates for this are a bit slow but I guess that's the trade you get for quality.

Really amazing game you want to know the sequel every time the story is well developed but does not take too much space.
Such a funny passage, this game is complete and lets the player make a lot of choices that you can regret or not, which gives some bite when you have to make some choices.
Very erotic scenes and well detailed characters that we end up getting attached to, as much by the story as by their design.
The scenes allow us to enter even better into the skin of the hero and the shots in 1st person and 3rd person make the scenes even more impregnating.
Very good animation worthy of Hollywood.
I never thought I would like a game of this type so much, but there is a lot of work and it deserves to be seen!

That said, Ripples is extraordinary! The animations of the scenes, the emotions, and the relationships are up there with the major studios that publish VNs. I binged this in a day and can't wait for more!

I really like where this story is going. As of now (4.1) there are plenty of hints that suggest an incredibly messy future that would nonetheless be pretty hot. That is all still up in the air though, and I don't want to review based on what is unknown.

Here is what is known: the plot is fun, there is an interesting mystery, there are sexy LIs. Relationships seem mostly natural rather than forced/shoehorned, although as the plot is progressing there are story elements that could make it difficult for the developer to keep that up. If the fate/sci-fi elements are able to be handled as gracefully as I hope, this could very well become a favorite for me.

This was good. A few hiccups, I think this protagonist model is overused, and the dialog gets loooong every once in a while, but overall, one of the few I've put on my watch list to see how future updates will go.
