Review for v0.60

I've known about Ripples for ages now, yet I somehow managed to avoid trying it out in my long years on f95. I thought I had played all the best games this site had to offer.

Alas, I thought wrong.

Ripples is undoubtedly one of the BEST H-games ever created, on par with ALL of my favorites, and it hasn't even reached its peak. I played from start to finish on a feverish high until I was done. And, even now, I ache for more Ripples to play.

The animations are incredible! 5/5

The story/plot is well thought out for a harem game, especially when the creator could have gotten away with sticking to something simple. 5/5

The dialogue and grammar? I didn't skip a single line in the game! 5/5

Character models? 5/5 again.

The characters are probably my favorite part of this game. Most of them are well fleshed out with consistent personalities. Skylar is a blessing gifted by the heavens to the world of adult games, and I found myself unable to skip scenes with any member of the cast. 5/5

My sole concern probably revolves around how everyone and their mothers, are willing to get into the MC's pants. But, the many other positives make up for this little peeve. It is a fantasy game, after all.

Intriguing storyline, likeable characters, good animations, decent art (HS1, but HS1 at its best)... The primary shortcoming, so far, is that there are too many LIs, a choice which spreads the story a little thin. Still, great game, overall.

Each character of the play is a different kind of immersion. I also liked the humorous elements of the game. I'm not normally someone who laughs at VNs, but this one made me laugh in some scenes. I was just saying that this is missing in this scene, and then immediately, as if the author hears me, the missing thing comes to the scene and completes the scene. The animations smell of labor and they have done a really admirable job in this regard. The story makes you wonder what happens next. In most adult VNs, the sex scene and the time allocated for storytelling are out of balance. But here it is handled very well. In addition, the treatment of the effect of the past on the future is very good, just right. For now, it is a game that I will definitely put in the top 3, but if the updates continue like this, I can say that this is my favorite game in the final.

It's a good AVN, here are some of my thoughts:

1. Story: It has a slow start but things get a bit more interesting as it unfolds. Sadly I'd say nothing "spectacular" so far (not saying it's bad, it's just good). By the way something that annoyed me is that during episode 6 (Spoiler) Skylar returned out of nowhere with a bunch of fucking tattoos and I don't like heavily-tattoed girls It made me regret picking her instead of Jessica, in fact, I did so because I thought I could have them both, dude ...come on, I can have every girl in the game but these two are mutually exclusive!!!? really?...

2. Characters: There are some good characters, overall they're ok. Girls designs look good.

3. Music: Nice tunes.

4. Renders: Good renders.

5. Animations: Great animations. Its best asset.

So far It's good and I like Sci-fi oriented AVNs as well that's why I'd give it a 7.5/10. It's worth checking out.

Beyond hyped for the next release, this is one of the top 5 AVNs ever, and it ain't #5.

The animations are the best I've seen. Eternum is visually ahead, but moaning brings the overall Ripples h scene experience up to #1.

Couple that with a fun story that you can either engage with at a surface level and enjoy or dive deep in to the conspiracies of "who is who's parents?", Ripples is clearly a top 4 AVN of all time... and it ain't 4!

Interesting story for sci-fi enjoyers Plenty of characters - can get confusing but the game has a way to separate them
Hscenes are solid - many different physical + personality-wise character
HUGE POTENTIAL (game not complete) - game has a lot of potential available -> much more meat can be added

Brownie points for a lot of animations - very cut-scene esque. Brings you out of reading into a movie feeling.

Ripples is an excellent AVN!

The story is superb, with an intriguing plot, interesting cast of characters, and range of situational scenes. The novel falters a bit out of the gate trying to balance character development with early H-scenes, but manages to find its stride and deliver a well balanced cocktail of erotic storytelling.

The graphics and sound design are top notch, and I still marvel at what the author has accomplished with the HS1 rendering tool set. I can only imagine what the newer HS2 Studio would be capable of in the hands of such an artist.

EP6 further expands the intrigue of the main plot, and I eagerly look forward to seeing where the dev takes the story!

I absolutely love this game, it is certainly up there as one of my favourites, the characters are all fun and likeable, with plenty of diversity. The renders all look great as do the character models.

But the thing that keeps bringing me back is the plot, I cannot wait to see where it goes and every update leaves me wanting more (Damnit Jestur, why so many cliffhangers you’re killing me man.)

When the biggest problem with a game is not being able to decide which character is your favourite you know the Dev did something right. Okay if i’m being serious the actual biggest problem would be the time between updates but for a game this good I’m willing to wait.

All in all this is an excellent game that I would wholeheartedly recommend, this is a game I would still play if it didn’t have the sexual content. (Oh and the sexual content is also great.)

Nice game, def top 3 games in genre if not the best... nice renders, nice storytell, nice characters, nice almost everything,... the "almost" thing is i have too little Darci times, i need more Darci to be 10/10 game, and fuck the shit out of Darci...

I started this game without any expectations.

First time playing it, game is kinda generic. Low quality renders, generic character design(model). I am almost to the point that I want to drop it.

But I tried to push through until the episode 1 and mannnn. I was in for a ride. Despite the flaws, the creator is actually cooking something pretty good. Jestur writes like a magician. Story is kinda wacky but the characters starting to leave an impression.

And then bam. Episode 5 came out. Graphics has evolved, and rendered characters looks much better.

I am so happy that I gave this game a chance. My brain is also bringing this up to my dreams which rarely happens.

So if anyone wants to try this.. give it a chance. The hook line sinker starts at the end of episode 1 and enjoy.

P.S. I am more invested in 1999. Jestur if you are reading this. Please make more content there. Jenny's storyline is like a romance drama with chefs kiss.

Fantastic game so far. Fun interesting characters, dialogue is some of the best I've seen in the genre, and the sex scenes are great in animation, sexiness, and are long enough to enjoy.

The story outside of the romance is also quite interesting and enjoyable, I'm looking forward to learning more about the plot behind the scenes.

This game is perfect, I just can't wait for the next updates.
It has everything, amazing story, characters, sound effects, renders, animations, sex scenes, good dialogue that also can be funny at times. I really can't find much wrong with this game, definitely top 5 on this site.

The game is great, with a good story and a lot of humour. Sex scenes are well-made, and sufficiently long for a good fap.
Graphics are made with Honey Select, but I think the dev managed to get the most of it, especially with the smooth animations.
Imo, the main flaw of the game is the overabundance of girls, as it is difficult to keep track of all of them. Some of them are even duplicated with the time travel, so there are actually "more" girls, somehow.

Played 0.6.0 Public

This is a hard one to rate. It's easily one of if not the best when it comes to animations in a AVN I've played and the renders are top notch.
But then the game feels far too big for its own good - despite no grind or sandbox mechanic.

What do I mean? All LIs fall for MC's magic dick, are promiscuous kinky sluts (with a couple shy closeted sluts mixed in for good measure) and there's just too frekkin many of them. I never feel like I get enough time to spend with them and it detracts from my enjoyment.
At least the characters are varied albeit watered down (MC cock magic) stereotypes. The writing isn't half bad either. But good luck getting to enjoy your favorite with that huge of a cast.
Having them all yearn for MC's cock actively takes away from their character, sands down their stereotypes and makes them blend together for me.

The story is objectively fine but I strongly dislike it. The plothook is not bad and I get that a mystery is supposed to make it all obtuse but WTF?
Why won't people just FUCKING COMMUNICATE AND CLEAR UP THE MYSTERY?!
I know, that's basically the stupid time travel, I am you but from the future trope. And it drives me nuts!

The game did not give me the impression that the story was planned in advance given how bloated the entire mystery has gotten.
Plotlines just seem to happen because... reasons! And it doesn't feel as coherent as it should be to keep my interest or be invested.
I have little faith that most of the stuff that is set up here will ever pay off in a fully satisfying manner.
Also when's the inevitable timetravel incest gonna happen? By the amount of action MC gets I'm convinced any of the girls without a father is secretly his daughter.

At their core a lot of the scenes are rather vanilla. Since a lot focus on the slow buildup of a relationship (Scratch that. These women will throw themselves at our MC from the 2nd or 3rd encounter onwards anyways.) level up of the nasties that's kinda expected. However, they are supremely executed with the aid of gorgeous animations and creative and unique scenarios.
When we get to have a scene with a non-LI the scenes can actually get a lot more interesting and steamy. There's a couple of (really tame) subby and dommy choices, but at the end of the day MC remains the magic cock wielder.

Sound effects well chosen, though the moans are kinda meh. I played without music so no opinion there.

This is definitely worth a play. You can see the care the makers have put into setting the non-sexual scenes with animations and see their talent in creating high quality visuals in general. I think the characters, plot and setting aren't for everyone for the aforementioned reasons.
If the creators want to give every introduced character a fair shake I expect this game's story to drag and thin out even further. And I think, despite that, it will become (if it isn't already) one of the lasting classics on this site.

I don't care if you don't like the model styles, its been putting me off for months too believe me. I kept seeing this game on the trending for so long and after finishing it in 3 nights(around 6-7 hours i would say) i am glad i put it off so long that i didn't get blue balled.
- No weird huge mommy milkers(except the mommy)
- No weird body portions except from the kid-like body for 1 character
- No weird ass morphing which really suprised me with its animations
Story is nothing special but if you have been putting it off like me you have to give it a shot for it's amazing sets with it's scenes and animations.

This is a quality game. The renders of course are great, but there's also an engaging story with varied and interesting characters. It feels very polished and mature.

I highly recommend giving this game a try. If you're anything like me, you won't regret it.

tbh this is some of the best shit here, renders are amazing and the writing is pretty damn good even if some of the characters are kinda cliche. theres about 3 hours of content as far as 0.6.0 and its completely worth it.

Great game overall so far, and one of my top 10 ongoing favorites. I'm looking forward to future updates and seeing how characters and relationships develop going forward, as well as how the main story progresses. Definitely worth checking out and keeping on your radar!

This is one of the Honey select games that is just so awesome to me. I love this game to pieces! Honey select II is my preferred AVN game style, there is so much more variety in character design and actions instead of the constant blow job, doggy, anal route that that 90% of Daz games do imo. Some Daz games are very good but the giant ass giant tit on every girl anal is getting so old to me. Give me a game like this and I'm on for the full ride, even just Honey select I games are excellent with great variety, The Inn, Mystic manor and others.

Nice AVN with a time-travel plot. I usually walk away from anything remotely related to time travel, but saw the popularity surrounding this one and gave it a shot. For the most part, the plot keeps you intrigued and there's a ton of buildup around WHO the characters really are. Of course, there's plenty of characters to work around and that means more sexual scenes as well. At times, it can feel a little overwhelming with the number of girls who are affectionate towards you, but as of completing update 0.6, it seems only a couple of girls really ever make their moves on you - which is a little disappointing, but makes sense. The vibes of the game are somewhere around 90s movies with lots of feel-good times, whilst sprinkling in lots of mystery to keep you invested. If the story finally gets some payoff in update 0.7 with revealing some character intentions/motivations, the game is a perfect 5/5 to me for the foreseeable future.
