How to apply the patch:
Copy patch9 into the game's main folder and start the game.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH CCMOD FOR THIS GAME

Basic Information:

As the game got released, I started at first doing basic UI translation of the game, which has since turned into a full game translation. I'm making this thread to have a place to post information on the progress and so people know it's being work on. I don't know if anyone else already picked it up and is working on it, but hopefully they're not. I don't plan to constantly update the translation because I often make small mistakes which cause crash and then I have to go fix it. The translation patch I posted here comes with 1.20 bug fixes included. Per their posts, there are quite still some bugs in the game so it might be better for you to just wait for them to finish with bug fixes before you start to play. Most of the UI is translated, I'm constantly updating the parts that are still not translated as I play. If you get a bug, try removing the patch9 from the directory and see if it crashes again. If it doesn't, then it's not caused by my patch.


What it translates:
Quite a bit of story up to the point I'm currently at. Almost all UI elements, items, weapons, names, etc... Some stuff like map names I'm working as I'm playing the game. Keep in mind, this is a work in progress, and I don't plan to update every day with every bit of stuff I translate. And also, I don't plan to constantly release patch as they update bug fixes. This patch is meant to be a preview for people to see. You'll have to wait till I'm finished with all. Also, you'll need to get the game yourself, either buy or... you know what. Again, this patch has 1.20 bug fixes applied.

Great to see someone working on a translation. Thanks for your work. You're probably already aware, but one thing I've noticed from trying it out is that in dialogue the MC is always called 'Theo' even if named something else. Everywhere else though the name seems to update fine.

I didn't notice that. I started the game and named him Theo. I'll look into it. For now, keep playing as Theo, I guess :) It will be fixed by the time I've finished translating.

EDIT: I found what the problem was. I was messing with something long before when I was testing stuff out to see what I can translate, what not and I forgot to put back the code for the name back. Since my character was named Theo from the start, I didn't even notice it.

EDIT: Also report anything unsual, or bugs and stuff. I did "test" everything as I played along but some things might have sliped somewhere just like this one did.

Where does this happen? You need to give me more information. Like what, town, event, dialog line, you can even post save file before the error.

This patch is a standalone for now. I'm not working with them, nor have I been aware of their translation and CCMod. You will probably encounter other crashes if you combine them. Either choose their translation or mine. The story translation goes only so far. Right now, it goes up about the snow village. This is for the main story. There's a lot of h-content on the side that has yet not be translated. I'm slowly translating both quests, h-events, and other small stuff as I play.

I know about the image, noticed it while I was playing the arena. I fixed quite a few things from this patch and finished translating rest of the UI stuff that wasn't translated. The patch was meant as a preview and to let people know someone is working on it. Sadly, I didn't see that someone else was working on it beforehand.

I keep up with the bug fixes from the author, but I don't plan to release until I'm finished translating everything properly and I'm sure all major bugs are fixed.

patch9 causes crash error when defeating madwing harpy and also when defeating the kobold leader in landon valley.
this makes it difficult to progress the game.

I know. Those errors are caused when trying to display a message with ' (like John's or in this case, Madwing's feather...). When I started translating, I didn't know such a thing would cause errors(crap engine). Those have been fixed in any case.

Regardless of that, this is a PREVIEW patch. Like I explained in the first post, it's meant to show you how the game looks like and the quality of translation. The game is not fully translated and is a work in progress. Either play with another translation or wait till I finish translating.
