new version posted in main game thread, 69 poses available for rogue, doreen, elizabeth and now kitty
For those who don't enjoy armpit hair but still want to use the excessive pubic hair option, you can just install the mod and delete the associated arm files that contain the armpit hair and install the rest of the files. For Rogue, Jean, Jubes, Gwen and Emma, the modder already provided variations without armpit hair.
For Kitty, however, this was a problem, as her body sprite contains her armpits. So I edited her files to delete the armpit hair. I did this in 5 minutes on photoshop, so my work is quite sloppy. It probably would've been easier to just copy the chest portion of the original sprite and place it above the modded version, but I couldn't be bothered to unpack the game to find it and then combined the two. I think my version is decent enough, I barely see any difference.
Here are the files. The install instruction is the same as the OP's: place the folder (KittySprite) in game/images/. If you are installing together with the files from OP, remember to delete the armpit and breast files, and overwrite the rest with my version.

Anyone who knows how to edit images can individually tweak the (already modded) character's pics that they want to because the mod is mostly just image folders that replace the vanilla images for a character. I'm afraid to say the curse has claimed me...
Jokes aside, I ended up in the bad spot I feared I'd be sooner than expected and won't be making anything until I'm done with college in June, but that doesn't mean I'll be releasing anything then. Also got plans to start relearning coding and making my own games, but that's anther story.
Rogue-like is one of the few games I always come back to, but it being stitched together with hopes and dreams makes it hard to work efficiently on it. That said, if nobody else does, it's likely I'll eventually make the hairy mod for it, at least for pubes. Thanks for the link quintillusbacillus, I'll check it out. Think I heard that the devs are doing the classic "tech update" move and making the code and modding mroe efficient, but I imagine, if true, it's being done at western porn game speed, so years away.
And I forgot where I saved the PSDs for the pubes files, altho given they were mostly tests don't think that's any real issue

Hello again. Some things happened, both good and bad, and I don't wanna bore you with endless excuses.
So short story:
I got my hands busy with lotsa stuff right now and can't focus on this, altho if people enjoyed the quality of what I did on my old post I could give a shot to some new ones here and there. No promises or deadlines, but I am more active on NSFW stuff these days and think about this and check the thread from time to time and I could see some girls done this summer.

as a (personal?) sideproject for you or others who have the know-how / dedication i think a "hairification" patreon/crowdfunding site that functions similar to the translation ones , where people vote on games to add pubes to the existing pictures of. I'm surprised that something like this doesn't exist already. (afaik) If successful it would also encourage h game devs in general to do so on their own more regularly if they realise there's an audience for it.

That's a bit over the top for something like this is it not? Gate keeping & monetization of things you didn't create is a legal nuisance as well. Though not in regards to the guys own game at least.

This thread shall rise again... with some simple additions to it.
So went back to redo some stuff, still trying to find a way to spend less time getting things to look nice and actually drawing them. Here's a enw take on Doreen (only frontal sprite, I like the base ones for other postures) and Laura (frontal and sex). Both really basic and simple. Haven't tested them too much. Here's what they look like. Laura's tits are edited but that's jsut me testing stuff, it's not in the files.
I'll see if I canmake a new take on all the girls, then maybe I see if I can also make a breast variant as I like to have variety in that regard. Sadly the way some sprites are handled and clothing will make that a pain in the ass. Hopefully by then we got the new code (hehe, not a chance) or some easier way to do this. The fact that some tits are bolted on the full body while others are apart is annoying.
But again, making a new pubes for the girls should be feasible enough, with a couple exceptions.
Hopefully this is at least interesting for some of you guys.

I'd tone Doreen's down maybe a more trim. The one on Laura looks okay but without the doggy art for her too if you go in doggy I mean she has has standard pubic hair during these animations so it doesn't match the front currently. Same to Doreen's front & back poses but I'm sure you know that.
Tangential but I would like to see that too, if we're appreciating differences in body types might as well go all the way.
