First things first, cracking mod. Loved the original game and love this version as well. Great job by the team

Have a fuckwit query. the GitHub files show updated a month ago, so if ive down loaded the mod and game version from GitHub, is it all those files bundled up or should I grab the individual files from GitHub and replace where appropriate. If this has been asked/answered, apologies but cant find it in thread or in the readme on the hub. cheers!

So I am have not read that many comics, and mainly know Storm from the movies and the cartoons. My personal take on Storm is has to keep a serene personality to maintain control of her weather powers, because the tempest is always raging inside her. I remember in the 90's cartoon that she had gardening as a hobby, and so I rationalized that was one of her coping mechanisms to maintain control. So maybe she came back to to the mansion to get her emotions in check and to see how her greenhouse/garden is fairing. She could be attracted to our character because since he can nullify her powers, she can really let loose for once.

Actually i was thinking something along those lines. being that her power are based around her emotional states so she is always calm. but the MC nullifies her powers, so she become more raw and up for alittle rough stuff. plus i think the idea of a councilor would be great and i can put some humor into it. Have the MC goto her to curve his sexually impulses only to rev hers up.

So first of all i wanna thank all of the modders for their effort and time put in this mod for this game. It has turned out to be much better!!!
I've been lurking for some time around these forums never really posted anything but since I've got some free time on my hands I figured why not spend it with something I really like. So i was wondering, lets say I'm completely clueless or just barely know some basic stuff about coding and such, how would I go about getting involved with helping this mod? Do I need to start learning a new programming language? If yes which one is it? I need info like that.

And btw this is an open offer for anyone who might wanna get help in his project/mod from a guy like me that doesn't know much about coding but is willing to learn as fast as he can ^_^ (I can be pretty fast ). Like for example I saw Shad0wk1ng09's post about wanting to do something of his own, similar to this game and got really inspired ^_^!!!


TL;DR : Long time lurker, looking to get involved with this game/mod or anything similar, willing to learn new things, with enough time on his hands!!! Point me in the right direction

Ya, you could saying im TRYING to make some similar to this style but with a few changes to make modding it a bit easier, but at the moment im using the rogue-like code as a base. what im trying to do is make the 2d sprites more isomorphic so a person making a new, say clothing mod, doesnt have to recode each piece individually. im still working on how im goin to do this 2d but ill get it eventually. as for my own project.. its still in the planning stage atm. im having a problem figuring out what power the MC will have, trying to stay away from the neutralizing power. so im open to suggestion, perfer you message me directing being that my game probably should be promoted on this forumn.

So far you seem to have been ignoring me, but I'm gonna try one last time. If you're interested in helping the mod then you're more than welcome to do so, but please get in contact with us. If you go on Github you can see when it was last updated. It will say something like "last commit".

As it says under "How to play the Github version", you simply just download it and extract it and then you're ready to play. Do not extract it into your normal game folder. It needs to be in a folder of it's own.

You don't need to download the Repo. Get an archive from the Readme.md link. Just scroll to "How to play the Github version:".
