I have no idea why having one of those causes the game to lag so goddamn much. It's a few 2d images gyrating around. It makes all of my PC fans spin up each time. It's like it's loading Starfield or something.

And? This isn't some story driven game where you have to spend time with every character in order to advance. As Barkin said, you can ignore her forever. You literally don't even need her to "take up space in the showers" since she'll never appear again if you don't go to the attic to meet her the second time
