I think it's highly unethical to use AI to produce so-called art in general and especially with the aim to plagiarize an artist (although I hardly label Oni as such when I look at what he does today). Just my opinion.

I think we can sweep the ethics of art under the rug when talking about fap material, tbh. A mf wants a wank, and if R2D2 is the one to make it possible, so be it.
The problem is, as always has been, how awful Oni's code is. Well, and the fact that it still takes a lot of effort and skill on the user to make good and consistent stuff with AI.

I like to think that more reasonable people of the terminally online population have moved to bluesky, so getting their general consensus seems more viable. Even before Muskrat, Twitter for at least the past 16 years has been that group of special needs kids that scared me out of playing Yu-Gi-Oh! or mentioning anything nerdy in high school.
But then again, we peaked with MySpace. Tom just wanted to be everyone's friend and for us to have a good time, and the goth and emo girls were hot and in the same age range as I was.
