Even putting aside that patreon users are an immovable force of bad behavior reinforcement, they're radically different games. TNH offers nothing for anyone who cares for the gameplay formula, and I'd imagine these people would be the most inclined to support Oni.

I don't know, the way it's going I could image that some time in the future TNH will have everything that RLE has and then some. Even the RLE core aspect of sexing the babes is already en par or better in TNH, and that without having a threesome functionality in (yet).
If I were a prospective patreon supporter and had money to spend, I'd rather give it to TNH unless Oni steps up his game.

Regarding the two games, I actually experienced them as quite similar when playing. I had fun for years with RLE, but TNH blew my mind and showed me how lacking the "original" actually is. From the reviews, I get the impression that many players felt the same.

Agreed on the patreon users. And we'll have to see if TNH's dev doesn't suffer the same lapse in productivity once he has enough cows to milk. Happens far too often.

Probably, what i mean is that they are different games in general.
RLE is american pie, TNH is Persona, one is meant to be a porno the other is meant to be an actual story.

Only Zero requires level 5+ to execute the plans, but Kitty and Storm require something extra:
For Kitty's Plan Kappa, you need to steal Xavier's photo with Mystique from the left drawer in his office.
For Storm's Plan Rho, you need to check out Xavier's files from the right drawer in his office.
It's random if you find something or not, thus to avoid wasting time better save game before exploring the room.

I've thought quite a bit about why this game just doesn't capture me that much. And I think it's the lack of objectives/events especially early on. Even introducing some milestone events for each girl would go a long way. I really love the Jean introduction event but then she just becomes another doll after that. I would love to see more of that.

Maybe some objectives to strife for that give these events could be nice as well. It shows you something to work towards and keeps people coming back.

you get a milestone every couple hundred points, first she calls you sir then daddy then master, depending on your stats with em they might wanna date or be fuck buddies. What milestones are you looking for
