never thought id find myself in a position where i need to explain myself with a sophisticated philosophical argument over why idon't want to strip naked in front of strangers like an exhibitionist but here we are, who knows maybe my momma didn't raise a buttnaked nudist? anybody ever heard about manners or common courtesy? guess being left alone or taking a damn shower is too much too ask in this day and age where the degenerate alphabet people control everything, maybe i should hire a lawyer

Considering the mess of code that composes this game, I wouldn't expect that anytime soon. Possibly ever. Just mod it in if that's really an issue, but complaining here won't change it. Go complain on Oni's Patreon! Stop wasting our time regarding how you have an unconscious need to hide yo' wrinkly balls...

ok all jokes aside you're taking this way too seriously and need to calm the hell down, its only a single option that was already implemented in the game and there's a similar option to lock the door whenever you're inside your own room and as far as i can tell that doesn't really ruin the game or defeat its purpose also whenever you visit the shower and there's someone inside and you knock first and then they leave and you take your shower afterwards nobody walks in on you so the option is already kinda in the game you just can't do it at all time, adding a button for it will just make it more convenient, if a single small change like this defeats the game's purpose then its probably not a well made game to begin with, and for what its worth its already been in the game so bringing it back probably takes less than 2 minutes for the developer so lets all act a little bit less authoritarian and let everyone play their game the way they want, i personally play it without ever interacting with anyone because i don't mix work with pleasure and also its just a college, its gonna be over and everyone will go their separate way and move on with their life and forget you ever existed so being attached to someone here in my opinion is a mistake, ive played this game before where i have gone hundreds of days without ever even kissing any of the characters, im an introvert and that's how i like to play it
if you wanna play the game walking around the college flashing your dong to everyone you're completely free to do so and nobody can say otherwise

It's a Patreon porn game... by definition, not a well made game. But the whole point of communal showers is that they're usually attached to a communal bathroom. Arguably the game's option to even knock/open the door to the showers is inaccurate, if anything that should be changed or removed. Plus, it's not college, it's high school but for obvious reasons the dev can't really advertise this on Patreon (although depending on your home country, you do college when 16-18 then go to "uni"). But this ain't that! This is the X-Men, who are so oppressed by society they live together basically in self-imposed exile while maintaining perfect asexual harmony since comic book censorship in America is privately enforced (or at least was, the Comics code essentially ceased to exist as a single authority when it finally got fully ditched in 2011; now it's just enforced individually by corporate trying to maintain that stock price!).

yeah but communal showers are also separated for men and women(assumingly to prevent rape), go ask any women if they want total strangers to see them naked and 99.9% of them will say no if they did like it human race would never invent clothing in the first place, people have been wearing clothes ever since adam and eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil and realized they were naked, even in this very game if you walk in on a character that's taking shower if they are not very intimate with you they're not going to like it so saying everyone should be able to see each other naked at anytime they want doesn't really make alot of sense even in this game
also most of communal showers have separate booths with curtains so if we wanna talk realism it should be completely impossible for men and women to see each other in the same shower

yeah well he probably doesn't approve of having sex with classmates or teachers either so if the protagonist cared about what he thinks in your own words that would defeat the purpose of this game
