Null hypothesis is too sterile and it sucks donkey balls imo. Pretty much a visual novel with illusion of gameplay

I'm not saying that Null is better. But I am saying that Null is giving me things to look forward to that are actually exciting, while it really feels like I've been watching RLE for seven years.
well as i see it RLE is great as a concept, but it is a one man work. what it lacks in polishing, art and story it compensates on the gameplay and freedom. Instead TNH is has a lot of polish, a deeper story and better art but it lacks the freedom that RLE give us. i know it is in early stage of development but most of the gameplay is locked by events.
i agree DBongus when he says its more of a visual novel than a game. but again there are very few truly interactive porn games, most are visual novels, most games are some what restricted when it comes to the interactions when having sex. and the ones that have great gameplay lack a deeper story.
not saying its bad im saying there is an eternal fight between story and gameplay. kudos for ronchan for creating something new. i also have high hopes for Dittymyman.

Don't get me wrong, I agree that Null Hypothesis has a lot of potential. But it has too many issues for me.
The oversized towels over the grandma swimsuits during showers
Affirmative consent for every single intimate interaction
Bland, vanilla, perfunctory sex
Relationship progress being gated by chapters (random chores and busywork essentially)
Stats/choices not mattering in any meaningful way
etc. I could go on, I'll probably end up writing a review for it at some point
I didn't get a single hard-on playing that game, I really hope it gets better but people seem to enjoy it for what it is so I'm not counting my chickens tbh

I agree. Peeps say Null has a lot of potential, and I guess it's true. But if that potential doesn't include changing a lot of what's currently in, and shaving off chunks of nothingness, I don't see that potential going anywhere; regardless of how good the art that the bitch shared from the Null thread.
everything has lots of potential. the problem is the execution. Imo, TNH falls super short. Whoever wrote it has the self confidence with women of a shounen protag and as much experience, imo.

I think the same, to be frank. But I could forgive cheesy dialogue since I can CTRL it off. What I can't forgive is how extremely restrictive the game is and how much chore you have to go through. It's like having to drive in a single line at walking speed.

I mean that's another issue that I have with the art, although technically it shows a lot of expertise and is objectively good you can sort of tell it was made by somebody that was doing it with a sense of shame and not really being into it (they don't even promote themselves or use any nicknames on the credits). It's kind of like looking at a tattoo of a naked lady on some dudes arm, pretty to look at but I wouldn't fap to it necessarily

I don't get those vibes from the art. It looks pretty erotic to me. And while I'm not too into Null's Rogue, their Laura is very good looking, and the threesome is pretty sexy. The problem is that the proper smutt is so hard to get in the game that it's almost a fucking post-game feature.
You have to go through the whole 6 seasons of bland virgin-with-a-harem drama before getting to stuff dem hoes full like they're Thanksgiving dinner.
