Except Jean. Jean's stats are a pain in the ass to raise just because of how contrarian she can be.

au contraire, I felt she was hard at first but after many playthrough I learned she is literally a massive masochist, just be a total dick with her, she by her own will start to raise up the love stat before she even ask you to control her, just disregard any options that could "lower" her love stat and you'll see how it fills itself later, not that it'll matters by the time she ask you to be her girlfried you'll probably already had your way with her.
