yeah she definitely needs to be remade, but as a milf teacher. Don't know what the dev was thinking.
i dusted off my old designs of storm but im not exactly sure how im going to put it into the game, im no coder. prob just make a concept art of what i think she should look like and go from there. got alot on my plate atm but ill attempt to post something soon.

I usually just mod things for myself to tweak things I don't like personally in games but given the effort that goes into making a mod for this game from a coding perspective (its beyond my limited skills) I can try help with this one. My approach (again self taught so there are probably a million better) to redoing storm would be unren the game then overdraw her various png's at their relative positions/scaling & then keep the filenames so that everything aligns properly (layer them up to check) and you then you dont need to tweak much (if anything) in renpy. If you only want to do 1 body then just save it under both names. Looking at this mod seems they have put all the same named files etc. in a folder and called it 'modified' or something, placed within the character. Although to be honest a straight up replacement would be easier and better as its not just a new skin tone or hair style, rather a total replacement so any futher modifications would come off that.

Also I did notice that the storm 'sprite body background' png from the games files is actually diffrent hips and legs to the standard sprite when overlayed , looks better proportioned (more like the hourglass look from evolution storm) & the 'tits up' png actually works standaline (i.e. doesnt look werid not being help up by an arm etc.). If you made those the standard, moved feet over to the background sprite & tweaked the clothing I think it would be an easier option than scratch.

If you do have any art and want a hand put it up and I can see if I am able to modify existing clothes etc to fit to cut down on any workload- my art skills are at a level where 'from scratch' character art is extremely difficult for me but I can generally copy a style/colours/shading to modify existing things or make simple addittions such as the clothing etc.

Pretty sure that as the game got more popular the dev started adding more things to peoples varied interests, so some would love the muscle astetic and play with mostly storm, others prefer the frost lady etc.

ya im already kinda doing that with storm. i ripped out the image set from the base game. im using it as a reference for the parts i need to make but first i wanna make a basic concept art soi have a design to reference too. also going to go one step further with her and make a classroom version that is static so it looks better other than being a scaled version of parts. honestly i dont want anything to do with oni game anymore but i guess someone has to jump into the shark tank and get these revamps done. ihave a couple of design ideas in mind, just need to find the time to do them

as for the clothing, i think they should be completely redone from scratch, other than the kenya design, the rest kinda suck, especially the swimsuit. the Halloween one is ok but the rest need alot of work.

As long as you start with the individual items from the base game in terms of the canvas/scale etc and save each as its single layer (invis background) with the same file name then game will just put in place of the old, so it should put in correct order etc to stop overlap etc.

Your approach is better but more work, so will let you go first if you want, I would have just trimmed her base to match the better looking one, redone a few outfits to 'tits up', and maybe traced/redone the legs to fit better with the evolution references I looked up (her shoulders are broader than her thighs and her thighs are way narrower) - but thats the laze path for lesser payoff.

If you make some progress post it with any concepts keen to see what you come up with

actually i tried that approach the first time i attempted to revamp and it didnt work out right. not only did it make her look disproportionate but all the games alignments were all skewed. so things like the BJ animation went all weird when the game tried to use the image assets to fill in the animation. this is why the new rogue head on here BJ animation looks bad, not only is the shading all screwed up but the proportions to the body are off.
I tried several times but in the end determined it would be easier just to make new assets form scratch and exchange them with new code independent of the original. but alas i never got a chance to test my idea cause the revamps got shelved.

The new rogue head is just shaded badly from the start and scaled 2 large - the shading has the (un)fortunate* effect of looking like 5 o'clock shadow

*I am sure someone out there loves the look

I know the overall issue you are describing but pretty sure i've fixed it before in a mod i did to this game for myself ages ago (back when when everyone was taking that 2 year indoor holiday.). For fun/learning I tweaked and put Hermione in it with assets from a few of games shes in in place of one of the x-men characters.

My Renpy skills are not the best but it was how i was practicing, and then used atom to open a few of the files and tweak some values, was working fine till I got too adventurous and started to go beyond my abilities and broke everything trying to put in new options etc.

I am curious now - might just do a few new quick test outlines and test the alignments, if updated art is done on the same canvas but in a location that aligns relative with your other new art it should work, unless the art is used for two scenes with different references in which case you need to amend the one that doesnt work in atom so its either aligned better or calls another image that you've made that does alignf or that one (or get a much more skilled person to include the change in their mod).
