Edit: I made it. Athena, once again, did not. Her sacrifice is appreciated. I have also confirmed the existence of a ceiling. If we take Gale's height as 1 Gale unit. Then you can jump up above the screen for slightly more than 1 Gale before smashing your head on an invisible border. Also on this platform, there was a chest containing 75 gold, as you can tell by looking at my gold amount.

Unfortunately, I have also confirmed this world does not have a sun.

0.23 made the signs very clear, you get infinite (tickle) knives so you don't get left totally defenseless, and the new artwork in the tutorial area is just—(chef's kiss). :D Now it's in an excellent place to start building on; here's hoping for many scenes of the Princess throwing that flubberdonk around! :sneaky:

Would be super interesting to see light transformation stuff be added into this game, fit with titles and corruption. Totally throwing darts at the wall here, but something like titles affecting her appearance?

Cat ears and a cat tail for when she has her relations with the cat boys maxed out... Horns and wings for the imps... etc etc.

Also, having her eventually purposefully run towards enemies to get "caught" would be cute. Or maybe even a cute lil' animation of her shaking her butt, waiting for the enemies to arrive.

Haven't checked out the new version yet, but I played 0.22 a few days ago and it was great! Super high learning curve but that's to be expected of an early access game (also Nintendo Pro controllers don't connect to the game... For some reason? So that certainly didn't help my Silksong-addled muscle memory.)

I have some big ideas I'll post in a bit, but for now here's a few simple suggestions/improvements based on what I've seen (likely not everything because I suck and haven't played for very long):
1. Dialog skip, or a button that advances dialog without initiating it. Please. Help. I'm still stuck talking to Athena to this day because I'm impatient and mash.
2. Extending the timers on switch gates by just a few seconds would do wonders for the early game. We all know the level I mean.
3. Adding a way to throw Athena straight up, or up in a slight arc in the direction you're facing. It'd be great for maneuvering her very, VERY fat ass (affectionate and lustful) around and would open up a lot of fun schmovement!
4. Enemy HP bars seem a bit janky for me, some (like the imp) have a full multiple-layer bar, while most other enemies start at 1/3rd or 1/4th an HP bar. I'm assuming that's just a bug, though I figured I'd mention it as in my brief read thtough of the comments I didn't see anyone doing so.
5. Having Athena recall to you from a bit closer would be really nice. She gets stuck a lot and then I have to drop all the way back down, pick her up, and carry her somewhere her pathing should have been able to get her to easily. Making a manual recall button would also be great (though obviously she'd have to be in a position where she'd recall normally anyways, eg. Not being fucked)

Finally, a small personal request, I'd love if Athena was a bit less... Horny, to begin with? Much more resistant and loyal to Gale to start, as the dialog from her getting fucked turns slutty fast. It's much hotter when the girl tries to think of her partner first before giving in to the NTR, imo

Small edit: Also, forgot to add this, but I love your art dingadocious! Been a fan even before you started making games~

For 4, that's intentional. It's a way to show enemy health bars while being consistent with how far the health bars decrease with each hit. It's an easy-to-see comparison between enemies.

For your personal preference, Dingus already added that in 0.23 just by proxy of changing it so that Athena's Desire goes up much slower.

heya! pro controller player here! i recommend you use Steam or Antimicro to connect your pro controller to your games!

There is one. You have to save manually through the menu.
I meant that from what I've seen you can save but to load you have to open the game again, also i think it autosaves when you die on the last save or something like that, I've saved in a red room but after dying i loaded it but i was in the hub

Considering it's a rogue-like, autosaves are the norm. Also since it's still a early WIP it's not surprising you start in the hub every time.

heya! pro controller player here! i recommend you use Steam or Antimicro to connect your pro controller to your games!
How would I use steam to connect to a non-steam game? I don't use steam for much so if I could do this for other games off other storefronts with bad controller rebinding that'd be great

So, you open steam, go to Games > Add a Non-Steam Game To My Library > Browse...
Then choose the exe of the game you want.
Steam has Pro Controller support and you can rebind the controller like you would with any game!

Considering it's a rogue-like, autosaves are the norm. Also since it's still a early WIP it's not surprising you start in the hub every time.
Yeah it's a rogue like so it makes sense, it's just that for reaching red doors at least for now it might be repetitive being that you have to do everything again just for one other try so it's more artificial difficulty

the ntr kinda sucks ngl but the art and game itself is really good. wish there was a wat to turn it off tho (the ntr stuff)
