Really dident enjoy this game, its to slow making it to long for little reward, story wasent all bad but the grind on the girls is way to much.
Your more likely to make your head hurt before finishing the game.

It dosent help that the game keeps track of the progress with 0/50 then when thats done and you think your getting somewhere it changes to 0/80 and so on, and it takes forever to reach a sex scene if you can call them that...

Not a fan of the picture to picture stuff, without animations it get boring fast, even more so due to the lack of any mood music, just a few sounds thats about it.

All of it takes place in one house and you just sit and click and click and....... going from room to room in a sandbox style.

Graphics arent great either so there is really not much that talks to playing it.

I don't understand the (so) low ratings on this game. Well, I can understand 'cause the gameplay is pretty difficult to apprehend, and even when you're used to it, it's not that pleasant to use, but it's the major and perhaps only default of this game. The grinding is important, but it goes along with one of the best teasing in adult games. Because, yes, CeLaVieGroup understands everything there is in the fantastic teasing world. Images, postures and situations are great for whoever is into exhib and teasing (there's a lot of other stuff too).
CeLaVieGroup has to endure lots of critics along the years, but he (or she ?) has always remained confident in his/her work and true to his/her pervert-self. And, equally importantly, has always delivered with regular and very consequent updates.
So, CeLaVie, thank you for you work and games, and keep up the greatness with your new iteration : "My Early Life"

This game is by far what I have always looked for in a game of its kind. It's well written, the characters are very endearing, it's not just sexual, there's a real affection that emerges, especially because the MC has faults but also a sincerity. The concept is rare and room for rent does not look like other games, it does not attack us on its copy/paste like most big games that all look alike. Here, we have a bias, a concept, there is no other word for it. It is true that some passages are a bit of filling for filling but precisely, it helps for immersion. After playing it, we think about it again and since then, it has become my element of comparison, and very, very few games fit into my top 10, this one is in my top 3 and a priori no game manages to dethrone it . It's a personal sensitivity, but for me this game has an extra dimension and not just room for rent, but the entire work and the saga.

i know a lot of people hate this game. and i understand- its repetitive, the girls are bland, the story sucks, mc is an old fuck, games unplayable without the walkthrough mod, etc

but i really enjoyed it. its a simple slow burn corruption game. and even though you're usually rinsing and repeating the same type of scenes with several girls, i still found the scenes hot af. i found the scenarios done really well. especially with the whole naive girl theme

now the reason this didnt get 5 stars and realistically should be a lot lower-

I'm playing without the walkthrough mod. You can easily lock yourself out of progression if you progress too early and ruin your save in the process, as it happened to me. After restarting, I discovered that there were several events I didn't encounter the first time around and that allowed me to continue on.

For the game itself, it's okay. Dated renders at this point but acceptable. Grind isn't that terrible--I've seen way worse. You should be hitting new events every 2-3 days. As with other sandbox games, progress is linear and choices don't really matter. A couple typos here and there but nothing too bothersome.

This game's rating saddens me, it deserves to be so much higher.

Unfortunately the progression really can be too grindy, however the developer improved on this mechanic as the game progressed.

Many of the events were fun and mischievous and made progression rewarding, except for those frustrating times where you had gotten stuck in a grind

The renders are perfect, they somehow improve even more in the follow-up games

The writing is good, even if the story is not quite believable. The ending could have been better, but that might not matter since there should be a sequel at some point (after the prequel arcs complete)

I have been following this beautiful game for more than a year. I have decided to wait for the final version and decent WT mod. And it was worth it! So much nudity and sex! This is one one of the most hottest games in here.
I know the author is working on other projects (also nice games!), but I hope he returns to this gem to finish some minor errors (sometimes bad dialogues, bad names) or even add something new (animations).
Without WT mod this game would be one star. But I am really satisfied! Even the story is...well... following the story is not important! Thank you for so many hours of fun!

This game series is fun with good with great story line. Love playing it. I like how it ties into other games from this same producer. Nice work. I would love to see all the games combined into one.

overall not bad game BUT with normal speed game is as interesting as watching paint to dry and even with speed mode it doesn't get much better, pretty models although look quite young, best way to play this is install wt-mod and press skip.

It could be a nice game where you have to develop your relation with the main girl and the side girls. The girls are the same model as it seems just with different haircolors and cuts.
After 43 I still haven't had any sexual interaction besides a little breast fiddling snd touching her pussy. Each day starts at 08 am and ends at 0sm the next day where you have task on hourly base. That are 16 action per day while your progress is extremely slow.
That's would not be a problem if there would be enough contend but often you play the same contend for 1-2 weeks till you can progress any further.
That's more than boring.
On 43 Ingame days I saw the 2 side girls exactly one time for 1 hour
Either increase the progress or the contend but seeing the same stuff for 5 days is plain boring

A bit rough around the edges, but still a nice gem. A lot of content as well. Might be a bit slow paced for some, but I like it. Can't say I'm a fan of having a grampa as male protagonist, but it's a minor annoyance at most.

I liked the story and I love the art/models, 5 stars for both, but I dislike sandbox games in general, and this game hits a lot of the reasons why I dislike them.

Art - 5 stars - The quality of the art is very good and I have no complaints about any of the model designs

Animations/Programming - 2 stars - no animations really, just slideshows of pictures. My biggest complaint about that is there doesn't seem to be a way to stop the auto advancing slideshows, so no extended viewing of individual frames unless you rewind the entire sequence. The lack of a gallery sucks.

Story - 4/5 stars - Some people will complain about the story being unbelievable. Umm, it's a harem game, the point of the plot is to setup 1 dude for lots of sex. Mission accomplished, and the story wasn't boring.

Gameplay - 1 star - This game is a grind. First because it's a sandbox, you have to be at a specific place at a specific time to advance the story. Without a walkthrough I don't see how anyone could have the patience. Especially since even with a walkthrough, the story can get stuck if you miss one spot, or you're supposed to see a certain scene a certain number of times, but have no indication of when or how many.

You will also be forced to either skip a lot of hours/days, or end up holding the fast forward button to skip through scenes you've seen 100 times. Even if they're trying to portray building relationships through time by repeating scenes, there are better ways to do that.

My last big complaint is how they forget about existing girls when adding new ones. They do a poor job of showing the advancement of your relationship with some girls by never updating scenes with them. Some girls will have a scene where they're still hesitant to be around the MC, when the day before they were all about the sex with him. That just seems like lazy game making. Where's the shower sex scene with Liza? Where is the random sex scene in the house with some of the models that move in? Most of them only have a sex scene during a photo shoot or a pool party, and those don't seem to be repeatable events. (did I mention there's no gallery?)

Overall - 2 stars, even the hottest actresses can't save a poorly made movie, the same goes with games.

I wont give it a one. The game has nice renders, and the overall story is not _that_ bad. BUT:
* Dev claims "very good story". Nope, it is not.
* Dev claims slow but stable progress. Well, it is not slow, but snail-slow.
*Dev claims 4000*2280 rendered images. I did not check, but the image details do not really justify such a high quality.
* Dev claims lots of decisions and tasks. No. It is a purely linear story, and nearly the only decisions to make are in the style of "to peek or not to peek", with a success depending on your current standing.
* Dev claims one sentence, one image. That is honorable, but just failing miserably. Either Dev cut the writing to adapt to the renders, or is just horrible at writing at all. Besides, "one image" does not equal "one scene". Scenes are reused for nearly all girls. And even for one girl, images are reused ridiculously often.
* Dev claims teasing events. Dunno, got bored of grinding.
* Dev claims 16 time slots a day. I did a quick calc, currently (V16) there are around 1200 Scenes in the game (very overlapping), with around 4600 time slots. So, if you play optimal and WITH walkthrough, you will click 12x per ingame-day just "continue". Without walkthrough, you'll probably experience an emptiness of 90%.
* Writing is ridiculous. Bad english, and just very bad storywriting.
* Renders are ok. Just so repetetive, and each Scene is re-rendered for every girl.
I could go on, there are just so much more fails here:
* Is being naked really more embarrasing than wearing really slutty bikinis and stuff? No.
* How will an "old man" cope with 6 nymphos in the house? I'll tell you: he won't. The Dev obviously never met ONE SINGLE nympho before.

Even with the walkthrough mod, the grind is mind-numbing and insanely boring, with almost 0 content to speak of, jsut continuing with the same lines over and over and over and over again... ridiculously long was of time for little content.

the models look good and the scenes are nice but the progress is so painfully slow that it's like torture, you spend hours or doing the same thing again and again and again and hope you get a new scene that lasts a minute and then back to hours of grinding.

I'm rating V16 beta.
As a beta game, it's normal to encounter some bugs and odd game behaviour so I'm putting this aside in the rating, as it is intended to be fixed in the dev cycle.

I encountered some bugs but everytime, I found a way to avoid them by loading or rolling back (when possible).

I'm not judging the game according to my tastes, because it's irrelevant,


but the gaming experience (including designs, story, joy...)

The game background (renting a room, no spoil as it's in the title of the game) is a simple and efficient.

The 3D handling is good with some bugs but not game killing,
It's a little bad for immersion sometimes but nothing serious.

The story evolution is enjoyable, and rarely frustrating.

I recommand this game, it's very fun to play.

The models are good, premise is hot and has potential... But... The dev is obviously a cruel troll, sent from hell to see just how far you're willing to go for some porn.
When I saw the 0/100 scenes of grinding I fucking laughed from disbelief, and every scene you have to do, skipping hours of the day furiously, you get 1 pixel of progression of the same scene. The girl would start giving a blowjob, gets 1 millimeter further and says "ok enough, I just can't", and this goes on for days and months of game time. THIS IS SO FUCKING RIDICULOUS AND STUPID AND NONSENSICAL FROM EVERY ANGLE YOU VIEW IT I FUCKING CAN'T... And this 0/100 scene thing - it happens over and over again when you complete it. Then it's 0/80, 0/70, over and over again. Every scene giving a pixel of progression.

The dev (or any human being) couldn't possibly think that anyone in their right mind would enjoy that, so the only conclusion is that he's trolling us and laughing at our pain.

I love the scenario, truly. But the creator opted to saddle the experience with some of the worst pacing and character development. This isn't a slow burn...this is the dev blowing the match out every time you try to get the fire going.

I become bored out of my mind on on day 48 and still crap. I read other reviews and it just seems like people are just saying praise about pace and so on but I just stopped. I lost interest real quick. problem if you want to cheat the developer guilts trip you in saying how this is not how the game is suppose to play but you know what if you make a game make it were you have peoples attention. I seen better games then this. I can't find any redeeming points I way too slow pace I found my self skipping a lot of repeated text. I do not recommend this game

i have never seen something so bad nor a dev so lazy and just sloppy with his work. this is a pooor attempt of trying to make some money by groping kids, who all have the exact same face, with the mc's wrists during the same scenes on loop. besides the fact that if you dontuse a WT mod you will feel like unnistalling right away. i have no clue what goes through this dev's mind, specially when he can see what kind of other games, with actual plot, and great creative worktheir devs, when he creates something like this and just as bad the so called spin off.
