Good

- A TON of content for both a male and female PC with lot's of choice.

- A big world and story

- An origin system that does actually have a decent amount of unique scenes

- A good variety of fetishes

- Some good art

Bad

- The writing has a lot of mistakes and outside sex scenes is just ok but get's the job done.

- There's some really poor art in it

- Some stuff is just broken and there's mistakes with characters recognizing how previous interactions went.

- There's a big disparity in content with companions. There's not much with Xyless, Carys, Katelyn, Zent, Galhart, or Roderick when compared to say Meredith. Some companions got a LOT more focus than others.

Despite it's flaws it's somehow still better than 90% of the games on this site. On the whole it's a really enjoyable game but with some really annoying sloppiness that brings down the experience especially as it feels the rough edges were avoidable or are fixable.

This is a great game as a standard RPG and to add the icing on top, it also has H-content. That being said, Devs obviously need to tidy this game up and make something else awesome, It's been in a completed state for at least a year now but they promised expansion content and so as of the time of this review, they've added 2 what I assume are complete expansions and are adding in the 3rd and hopefully final expansion unless this game is going to be one that they just keep expanding on.

Good, solid game. Loads of content, fun quests, decent combat elements.

Artwork is generally good. It's all 2D, more traditional looking stuff and there are zero animations. A few different artists, I think, just by looking at the styles. A lot of H-Scenes are just one or two still images, with some panning and zooming going on. And LOADS of text. Most of the sex in this game is described, not shown.

A few small glitches that didn't really impact gameplay much. The big one is that the Quest Log doesn't seem to update properly. At a certain point in the game - about the end of 'ACT I' IIRC, it just stops. Completed quests stay listed as active and new quests don't show up. But that's just the log, it doesn't affect the actual play.

And just a warning: LOADS of watching your (The MC's) favourite chicks get nailed by others. Like... loads. If that's not your thing, this may not be for you.

Lets start with the gameplay, truth be told there's really not much to it.

• Quests are typical for a RPGM game. Kill that, fetch this, oh this dungeon has a floor puzzle (I think there were two to three dungeon puzzles in my 20 hour run).
• Castle upgrades, which are really just tossing money for higher variables and a few more zones for you to religiously check every time you come back to the castle.
• Perks. You get one perk point per level which you spend similarly to castle upgrades.
• Equipment customization and forge gacha. You get crystal drops which you can use in the castle's forge for a random equipment gem, all equipment can hold multiple gems. The system is honestly pretty neat, but it's presence means that balancing combat is nearly impossible and it shows.
• Lockpicking. Most, of the few, chests you find will require a lockpicking minigame. I personally don't find it enjoyable, had enough of that back in 2011 thank you very much.

World/maps

• There is one collectible item, shards. If you are a perfectionist this means your first order of business on any new map is combing the entire thing to see if it has a shard or not.
• Besides chests, and things with glowing stars above them there's nothing to interact with in the world, which is a shame because the little things you can find/learn while spamming z on objects is really something RPGM shines at.
• Occasional long loading screens and lag.
• There are several map assets with no-walk zones far larger than they should be. Trees are the main offenders.

Menu/interface

• A grand majority of items completely lack an item description.
• Several quests aren't listed in the quest log. If you care about a quest be sure to pay attention to the dialogue.
• Castle/perk upgrades are only usable with the mouse. It is oddly annoying when you spend the rest of the game with your hands on the keyboard.

Writing

• Ranges from bland, lore dumping, to discount hentai.
• A few missing letters and typos here and there.
• There were several instances where dialogue made sense on it's own, but not when applied to the context it pertained to.
• Sex writing is very descriptive, so much so that sex scenes become downright boring if you don't find the fetishes involved hot.

Characters

• Companions are generally interesting at first.
• MC's personality is shaped via kind, neutral, and snarky responses to things similar to Bioware games. While this is great for a typical role playing game in a sex game I kind of feel like a ghost in a swinger's castle.

Sex and Smut (It's what we're all here for and you know it)

• As stated under writing, the descriptions can drag on. There's only so much I can read about people undressing and moving about before I smash the advance button.
• The 'free love', for lack of a better term, and a majority of the fetishes didn't appeal to me. I advise everyone to get a solid understanding of the content before sinking your teeth into this.
• The elf told MC she was going off birth control potions and I was trying like mad to get sex scenes and impregnate her. After a couple of anal scenes she somehow got knocked up.
• I completely avoided another character, ten hours of gameplay since the last scene with her she told MC she decided to go off of birth control and was now pregnant.

Overall I don't feel that the time spent playing this was well spent. It's just not for me.

overall it's good. but I hate that "a paladin's pledge" shit. my character leveled up two times during that quest by killing spiders and couldn't complete it. no matter how accurately you follow the map, you cant complete the quest. just one stupid quest that makes you hate the whole game

Some spoilers

This was one of the best games of it's kind I have played so far. The storylines were extremely engaging sidequests were plenty with rewarding H-scenes.

Companions and NPC's had a lot of personality and dialogue. Overall the world felt extremely large with a lot of variety.

It also makes you decide whom to let live and whom to kill, which at times felt like genuinely difficult choices to make because of the game's immersiveness.

I used the cheat for a lot of the battles and used the cheat mod to edit the affection so that some of the companions. Some of the combat can feel repetitive but each fight was exciting and well balanced, requiring some planning.

The 'Average' score is just that; the in-betweeny mark of a game with great pros and fucking obnoxious cons.

Art's a collaborative effort of an entire community; quality swings wildly from unaltered stock RPG Maker assets to wonderful SFW images (world map), brilliant porn and very-not-so-brilliant porn.

Writing is just as inconsistent. This game seems to lack any overarching production lead, and bits of both the plot and the porn events feel like modular scenarios bolted on randomly because their themes were big at the time. Fluency is okay, dialog is okay, but the tone of the presentation varies so wildly it turned me off. Even the game's coding got in on the same train to Inconsistentville with bugs, logic and continuity errors, and placeholders time forgot. Also regarding the writing; glib portrayals of suicide and tragedy obliviously bookended by lackluster humor and unconvincing sex scenes are a hardcoded immediate star loss for me.

The porn content also irritated me at times. I quit counting scenarios that started off promising and hot only to seem to deliberately tease then avoid my kinks.

TLDR: I check this every year or two just to see if it's gotten better, but at this rate I'll never find it worth dropping money on.

Well what can I say about a classic? This thing has been going on for ages and is so huge even Mandingo the porn star would be jealous.
Basic premise is be a girl or boy and you have 5 different origin stories you can choose from.

You set off on a quest to defeat the Orc God Murkal. Along the way you have a HUGE amount of followers you can attract, including a succubus, an Orc, and Elf, A red girl with a cock, a tentacle monster, a naive corruptible ginger alchemist and a horny sarcastic skull on a stick.

You also have the option to play what you want, I personally prefer to be a female necromancer. But you can be a ranger, a paladin etc etc etc. You also have different ways of dealing with the situations you are presented. It's one of those rare games where you can play it for so long you get so immersed in that world and characters. That can be a good thing, or bad....if you have a wife or husband that wants you to do things in the real world.

Combat is standard RPGM fare, the erotic scenes are CG with text and, this is where some people may complain, are a rag-tag of different artists and styles. As the project became more and more succcessful they hired different artists. So as you play the art gets better!

Come on this is a classic, you owe it to yourself to have a play, No! Not that kind! I mean download and play the game!

While, I'm giving this game a 3 stars. I don't think Roundscape Adorevia is a bad game nor average game. I think it's pretty good and I already sunk a lot of my time playing this game. The game has a nice drawing character and they're fun to interact with and this game probably cover you fetish.

However this game also has a fair share of flaw. The biggest problem in this game is "bug" and there are ton of them. You can't complete this, The character go missing, The screen turn black, Game Freeze etc etc.

Another complaint, I has is H-Scene. The art is mixbag. Some are good, Some are okay-ish and some are hideous but I do understand that the game take very long time to develop and the dev doesn't have much money at that time.

Overall, decent game but you may feel frustate from time to time.

I was starting to write this review by thinking about the things that annoy me with this game: Minor bugs everywhere, different artists making the art really inconsistent, too much focus on bestiality, very easy to miss out on content, et c, et c.

But then it hit me, I have nearly 30 hours played in this game and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to do differently on my next playthrough. And I don't even like RPG Maker games! So this game definitely has something going for it which makes me keep coming back. It would be dishonest of me to rate this less than 4.5, just based on the play time alone. I've given 5's before for games which lasted less than 3 hours.

True, there are things to improve with this game. A lot of things actually, but in the end it's a good game with tons, and I mean -tons- of work put into it. It's by far the best RPGM combat-oriented game I've ever played and the amount of content and customization in the game is absolutely enormous. You can play as the evil dark lord who just fucks everything in his path, the white knight who saves the kingdom, a slutty chick or anything in between with lots of companions to keep you company. The possibilities are pretty much endless.

If you like the classic RPG fantasy setting and RPGM games in general then this is a must play! If you're looking for a quick fap then maybe this isn't for you, though I could see how some furry or bestiality enthusiasts could really be getting their fap on with this game.

If you're new to the whole RPGM-world then this is the game you definitely should start with. You may not like all of it, but it has something for every taste and you'll definitely be entertained on some level.

I love it your game was great the choice between your starting perk as well as gender although i disliked the cheats hate them but your game was orginal and i liked the fact that you could choose to either team up or leave someone behind , also i noticed it was hard to find the purple ghost girl? i encountered her once but completely forgot how i did it and it seems nobody talks about it well i hope to finish your game in all routes in both female and male thank you soo much for creating this wonderful game

Ah, my beloved game Roundscape Bugseria I must admit the bugs were worse enemy than Murkhal himself but it was enjoyable I would prefer one artist because too many porn artists mean they are all using their own style, combat was boring and hard difficulty is just turning enemies in the sponges story was good not something that would make you shocked or literally mind blew but for a porn game in the rpgmaker, it was good as for the writing well it was enjoyable my first-time enjoyment would be 4.5/5 and then my critical rating would be 3.5/5 because this game has too many game-breaking bugs and glitches and some were present back in 3.4 and I get that this can happen but it's meme when the same funny glitch was in this game around version 3.4 is still present in 4.7, combat is turn-based and becomes quickly boring and you will avoid the battles.

companion abilities are from good to crap for example you got Ruksana who's a good damage dealer but her abilities are all TP focused then you have Meredith who becomes Demi-god who can heal each round a huge portion of her health and has only one good damaging spell and you only keep her around because she has good dialogues + she is a healer and evil Meredith is worth of corrupting and then you have there Roderick who is UUGH HE IS SO BAD all his abilities suck his damage is weak and I would get it if he was a joke character but what's the point of him there if he is not worthy of taking with you, I feel like I'm missing plenty of rich dialogues but no most of his dialogues sounds dumb instead of being cunning evil like encouraging your hero into doing evil deeds he just shouts dumb stuff so I'm slowly accepting he is just a meme character.

Combat could be really better I mean it's boring there is nothing enjoyable on it your abilities are super bad and you have to pick certain companions to feel strong not to mention your hero eventually becomes a one-man army completely nuking companions concept of gameplay.

So this game is awesome for porn, character development really varies from Meredith who has different banters to Xyless who feels like she has been abandoned, but the weakest parts are super annoying bugs and glitches, repetitive combat not to mention same looped battle music and terrible skills and spells for your heroes. So I would give it 3.5/5.
You might also wonder why I gave it 4 stars but here I'm giving it 3.5 that's because the f95zone rating system won't allow me to give a half star.

The extent to which you can control the fate of the character is incredible. Free-roam, Incredibly large amount of content, and fantastic scenes. The amount of tags the this game encompasses is also immense, allowing it to cater to quite a few players. Probably the best erotic RPGM game I have seen.

So It's been awhile since I reviewed this game. It has worked since that review and I just remembered I left this poor review here unedited ever since. The game has a fantastic storyline, good art, and lots of lewd moments. What more is there to like about an erotic RPG than that?

Wow.

Positives>

1. Great story.
2. Great characters. And lots of them too
3. Immersive.

Negatives:

1. In desperate need of a detailed map, character locations etc...
2. Very easy to miss scenes, which you can't play later.
3. Spawning enemies are tiresome.

Having taken all of this into account, it's still 9/10 effort.

Roundscape Adorevia it's a great game with a fair amount of content , pretty nice gameplay (for a RPGM) and good artwork , the history can be a lot better. But that's not why you´re here right?
I hope someday they stop focusing on adding new mechanics and concentrate all his efforts on adding more artwork.

Greatly built game. Story, length to game, can avoid what you dont want to see...though, why would you do that? And, of course, plenty of nudity. what more can you ask for? What is stupid, is that you need at least 200 words or whatever to leave a review to just rate a game. But, hey, whatever. This game is pretty stellar though. Could maybe use a little more choice option on how things play out, but...its great how it is regardless.
