Second tasks are shit. Let's be honest even Seleka tasks are awful and rarely are somehow challenging.
If you have better ideas on what kind of challenges/tasks this game should have, then by all means share them.
I get that the tasks we have right now are basic, but just saying they're shit is not helpful in the slightest.
Progression-wise, it makes sense that the first tasks are going to be basic and safe for someone new to exhibitionism.
Emotes are awful, since they don't have any in-game meaning aside couple tasks.
To be fair, most games in general have emotes that don't serve any meaningful benefits to the player.
Yet a lot of players like them because they're fun little animations to look at that make the characters expressive.
For a game where you get to streak in public, there's a place for a feature where you can make your naughty character do silly movements and poses in the nude while hiding or being seen by others.
There's no harm in including that, I'd rather have my naked character be able to do an emote than just standing idly.
Money system is broken.
It's more accurate to call the system, and the progression to an extent, "grindy" as you'd have to re-enter a location and film yourself streaking multiple times just so you can afford to buy that expensive swimsuit to be able to do tasks related to it.
Now about what game did right. Finally a normal interface and you don't need to memorize like 10 keybinds.
It's funny how you say that when the keybindings are across the keyboard and they can't be changed like you could with any standard PC game. I found myself mixing up with the keybindings for the clothing menu, emotes, and the phone at times.
Suggestions: Get rid of the mall level at least for now, stop adding new content, programming and sit for couple hours or weeks and think about what gameplay should be in a exhibition game and how to make it actually fun to play. I also suggest abandoning most of the Seleka features, specially gameplay, since Seleka wasn't a good game, it was the only one exhibition game in a 3D, that's all. It wasn't fun to play, it wasn't memorable or something. If not, then don't add new maps and just polish current ones, because I doubt that even 20% of players will go past first couple maps.
Nothing's probably more infuriating for a game developer than to be told they should scrap most of the features they spent a long time working on just because you're personally not a fan of another game that inspired this game.
At that point, you might as well look for another game instead since it sounds like this game is not the one you're looking for and it should not be drastically changed just to accommodate what you specifically want in an exhibitionist game.

Also, advising someone to remove all of their gameplay features without suggesting anything to replace it with is intensely stupid. You might as well have just told him to delete his whole game.

Tasks are the sole motivation to interact with the world. They're the gameplay hook. You go out into the world and do lewd things to complete your tasks, which rewards you with money and exp.
If they were removed, you'd.... what? Just wander around the city aimlessly, doing absolutely nothing? With zero progression system?
Cmon man.

Granted, tasks could be better. The first map has the most and the most interesting. The next ones feel almost perfunctory.
Which makes sense, the city map has clearly had the most work done on it.
The standard 'flash upper body/flash lower body/flaunt x' feels like padding, but sometimes padding is necessary.

The really interesting ones are the map-specific ones like getting the shop-owner to call the police and then escaping.
Maybe one to pose (emote?) naked in front of the CCTV cameras in the area? (With a bag on head?)

For the swiming pool, it feels like there should be a lot of cool things you can do there, but the map is kinda bland. There's lots of little corners and nooks but for a map that has A: The only swimming segment and B: locations where narratively people are supposed to be naked, there's really not a lot to do.

Suggestions:
  • Separate out men's and woman's changing rooms? Then have a task to sneak into the men's and hide naked in there for a while? Add a locker you can hide in or a bench/crawlspace you can crawl into and then script a bunch of guys on the map to go in here regularly.

    Hell, have one of the guys be scripted to go in and open the only accessible locker every couple of minutes, then you can add a postcard scene of Roxanne being caught naked in some guy's locker.

  • Maybe swap out the transparent swimsuit for a white one that becomes transparant when wet? Or just add it as an extra option?
    That way you can have Roxanne walk around in a 'normal' swimsuit and look decent, then become indecent after going for a dip. Add a mission to go for a swim and then hide somewhere until the swimsuit dries? (Make it still function partially as a disguise even while transparent, like bodypaint?)

  • Better quality bodypaint. Bodypaint of a swimsuit. One that actually looks pretty convincing... until it gets wet.
    At which point it transforms into a 'partially washed off' version of itself which doesn't serve to hide her body?
    Have a task to enter the level with regular clothes and this bodypaint, (and no actual swimsuit) and then strip off her clothes in the changing-room and go for a swim.

  • Add a towel to the women's changing room so Roxanne can cover herself. As like... in-level clothing that you can find. (Not to unlock it or anything, just to use for the level)
    A towel can be worn over a swimsuit or bodypaint, right? So Roxanne can go for a dip with her magical vanishing swimsuit and then run for the changing rooms to get a towel so that she can exit the level without failing.

  • Hell. I was mostly thinking of the men's changing room as the 'dangerous' location and the girls changing room as 'safe' but you can get caught by girls too in this game. Right?
    What if you couldn't? At least in this one room?
    If a girl walks into the women's changing room, she shouldn't freak out if she sees Roxanne naked in there, right? It makes sense, this is a room for changing!
    So make this a 'safe room' where Roxanne can't lose the game and fail the level, and add some tasks for 'no risk exhibitionism' where she flaunts her huge boobs in another girl's face for a bit.

    Do it like the shopkeeper in the city level, where they clearly react (and potentially react diffrently depending on how overt she's being about it) but they won't 'catch' her and make the level end.

  • Add a task to stand naked just inside the open doorway of the women's changing room and just pretend that she can't tell that guys can see her.
    During this event she can get 'caught' (I.E, become embarrassed) and fail the level, but at a WAAAY reduced speed. So even though the guy is obviously checking her out and can obviously see her naked, unless she actually looks at him and makes eye-contact, Roxanne won't become so embarrassed that she loses the game. (or just make her allow herself to get seen for a bit, then walk out of sight to let the meter go down, then 'accidentally' walk back in front of the doorway again.)

Ah, on that note: I'd move the meter that shows whether you're about to lose the game or not away from the NPCS and onto Roxanne somewhere. Having a 'bar goes up as they notice you' meter on NPCS is a good idea, but it starts to fall apart when they don't all work the same.
You can stand naked in front of the shopkeepers in the city level and Roxanne doesn't collapse to the ground and end the mission in shame, instead they just call the cops.
Colour-coding these bars is a good idea, but whether Roxanne loses her nerve and gives up or not should depend on her, not on who's looking at her.

So you need an 'attention' meter on the NPC, and a 'shame' meter on Roxanne. The former just changes their behaviour (flinching, falling, running away, approaching, taking photos, calling other people over, trying to touch Roxanne, calling the police, ect) and the latter denotes how close she is to losing her cool and running away.
Obviously Roxanne's shame should rise faster the more people notice her, (although her maximum shame meter should grow as she levels up and becomes more confident/perverted) or slower, depending on the situation.
In a situation where she has a plausible reason to be wholey/partially nude, she has 'an excuse' and doesn't become embarrassed so quickly.

As roxanne becomes more and more perverted, this would allow play where people clearly notice Roxanne, but the level doesn't (immediately) end so you can continue and see the results of that.
I know that you're not interested into progressing into sex, but a crowd of boys (and maybe one girl, lol) following her and taking photos would be neat, or people seeing her and flinching away/falling over.
That would be 'high level play' obviously though, after Roxanne's perversion has grown and she isn't so shy that she immediately gives up when seen.

Other ideas:
  • Didn't you have cars that you could get into in a previous version? Or was that a diffrent game? Adding unlocked cars to the city map as hiding places would be interesting. Get inside, press one button to crouch down and hide, press another to flaunt or do an emote.

  • IIRC you also had the ability to jump/vault fairly tall walls? That would be an interesting way to break LoS.
  • More crawlspaces to break Line of Sight or lose pursuers. The one in the store on the city map is neat, but mostly useless since people don't really chase you in there and it doesn't really lead anywhere. Some way to cross over the gaps between houses?

  • Something to do with the falling over mechanic? Walk around in naked-towel and hit a button to 'fall over' and lose your towel? Or walking around in a skirt with no panties and add a 'trip and fall' task/postcard to give someone an upskirt view at her bare pussy?

  • The task to find the condom had potential. Both in terms of 'find sexual items' and 'shoplift'
    There was another 'find x time in level' task, but I don't know what it was, so it clearly wasn't memorable.

    Add a task to find more lewd items (Probably in the mall level?)
    Add a task to shoplift? And presumably a postcard for getting caught?

  • Add a sex-toy store to the mall. Add a postcard of her staring awestruck at a massive dildo.
  • Add a task to steal a (much more reasonably sized) dildo by smuggling it out in her pussy.
    • Doing this unlocks a dildo-using emote?

  • Change the sneak animation? It looks kinda cute, but it's much too slow to actually use for any kind of sneaking. it's even slower than crawling. Or add a task/postcard to 'sneak' from one location to another, nude? (then tweak npc pathing to actually make it possible)

  • Add emotes that you can use while dressed (so they're not all her masturbating in various positions)
    • Shaking her ass (dressed or undressed)
    • Dancing (dressed or undressed. If done in a skirt with no panties, viewers can see up her skirt when she moves?)
    • Just something innocent but eyecatching to draw people towards her. Maybe loud?
    • Eating an icepop with blowjob motions. Draws guys attention, doesn't make Roxanne embarrassed? (Mission/postcard to do this one somewhere in the city?)
Might add some more ideas later.

Edit: So the pool DOES have two changing rooms. It also has two more completely unused rooms.
I think I just didn't see the prompt to open the doors before this. The second changing room has a guy in it, but he never seems to leave and there's nothing to do in there.
The empty rooms are just empty.
Still

  • Do something with the lifeguard towers? Posing, sitting nude, ect?
  • Do something in the showers off to the left side of the map (Add a showering animation here, have a task to do it naked? It's isolated but it's still outside and kinda exposed.)
  • Make use of the fact that the shower-area has a dip in the floor and a waist-high barrier to get the player to use masturbation emotes here where they're out of sight?
  • The sorta hidden nook between the boys changing room and those two girls on the bench. This area is sorta hidden. Do something here?

Edit: Biggest suggestion: Seleka let you gain exp/money by doing lewd things outside of missions. Stripping or walking around nude or posing or masturbating even without an task/quest to do it.
You don't get a lot of points, but it's a continuous trickle of like 0.5p per second. This rewarded players for doing lewd things even outside of the mission system. For your game, your exp is too tightly controlled for that, but you could do it for money, to let the player buy new clothes with.

I mean, you already have the Live mechanic for that, but currently there's not a lot going on there.
When I was grinding money through Live, I ended up basically just stepping outside of her house, stripping off in the safety of her garden and then going live and alt-tabbing out, because you can't actually DO anything while streaming yet.
Obviously that's probably going to change later on, but i'm not sure how viable it is to have her be going around flashing people, crawling through bushes naked and masturbating all while streaming.
Most of those things take two hands!
... maybe you could get an upgrade to send out a flying camera-drone that follows you around and films Roxanne's adventures? (or get old-Roxanne to stalk and film her? Lmao)

Anyway, a mechanic like that would add replay value to maps that you've already beaten.

I barely leave comments, but ngl, this update took me by surprise. Compared to the first version that was released here, this time the game turned out to be quite damn solid even though its just v0.2, great job uwuzaki!

The exhib-only games nowadays are pretty damn rare, and so far this and Seleka are taking the top spots in the 3d freeroam exhib games for sure. Around 90% of the stuff I've played were exhib games, so since this game is in development (unlike Seleka that was rushed to 1.0 and got abandoned, even though it had some real potential), I'd like to give the dev a few pointers on how some stuff might improve the game tenfold, in my opinion, ofc.
There will be a lot of comparisons to Seleka, but don't look at it as a competition between the two; both games are good, and could greatly benefit from taking inspiration/some ideas from each other, but since seleka is way past that point, our only hope is Roxanne.

I'll quote the words of one absolute chad (iamnuff) that commented a few days ago: "The goal, presumably, is to make the best game possible. This means that you should steal whatever worked well for other games in your genre. See what Seleka did well and take it. See what they did poorly and improve on those issues. Just be careful to ensure that your own ideas retain their uniqueness and don't get drowned out in the process." - because that is actually BASED and exactly what I wanted to express.

I'll comment on stuff just in general, for the future, so even if you say "its juts a placeholder, already planned, etc" - I understand, just voicing my opinion. So, one-by-one:

Menus, UI and such: Definitely most of that looks like a placeholder, but just letting you know. Settings, keybinds, main menu, PC menu and char stats look fine, but ESC menu, tutorial and the whole wardrobe menu look like it was done in a real hurry. Also, the Face Camera should definitely be in a border, it'll look 10x better.

Clothing: Honestly? Way ahead of seleka already. Seleka had a "problem" of barely having any normal clothes (yeah, a total of.. one coat) with most clothes being overly kinky accessories or costumes (understandable, but still eh), while Roxanne has a good selection of normal ones. I'd suggest actually pushing in this direction, and adding more normal-looking clothing like skirts, shorts & shirts, some dresses etc, while also dividing the full outfits like the Pantsuit into several parts that can be taken off separately. (For example, if the Pantsuit had the option to take off the coat, or take off the shirt but the coat stays on, with pants being separate too, or even open/close the coat/shirt.. endless possibilities, but that'd be a 10/10 outfit for sure)
And also, starting clothes should be a bit more normal, so to say - not the PE uniform with flipflops (lol), but a normal shirt & skirt or a basic dress (flipping the skirt IS the exhibition classic, after all) with PE uniform being as a separate "set" just like the swimsuit etc in the shop. Also, FACE MASKS (like a normal black/white surgical mask) instead of the "anonymous bag" during streaming/just as an accessory is a MUST. While the bag is funny, the facemask is just a classic at this point and won't look out of place.

Maps: Another in-development thing obviously, the maps just need more details. Even though Seleka has a small (in comparison) city map, it is far more detailed, which is actually not a bad idea - shrink the current city into a smaller one and add a lot of details to make it look real, because the current city, especially the area around the MC's house, looks VERY unrealistic (uncanny valley lmao), and the second map (shop) definitely should be at least two times bigger, its just too cramped with no places to hide, since the NPCs are everywhere. Third and fourth maps are pretty solid, just not detailed rn.

NPCs: Well, they definitely shouldn't see us with their backs and while the MC flashes her tits/ass facing the other side. And you really should remove their gasping/taking photos/falling/being surprised the instant they see us flashing. The suspicion meter should fill to at least 75-100% for that to happen (so more like Seleka's system?), because it just shouldn't work as it does rn. And also, the option to reduce/increase the amount of NPCs is a must for sure.

Quests, EXP, money system: The current system is really bad, that's like the only part of the game that I actually dislike a lot. Again, seleka's system would be ideal here.

Animations: In my opinion, a lot of them are good and some are better than Seleka, looks very nice so far, just needs more polishing, like hands actually touching the places they need to touch, etc.

Graphics: Eh, it's a hentai game, looks fine. Make the nights a bit darker with obvious shadows (places for hiding?) and more obvious lightsources (like in Seleka). Maybe a bit more details for the MC? The MC in the Face Camera somehow looks more detailed than the ingame one, maybe it's just me. Add some minor polishing, like nipples, face and such being more detailed, it's the main attention grabber after all.

Phone: A really cool feature for sure, a huge step ahead compared to Seleka. About the phone anims, we should definitely be able to hold the phone (camera/stream) both in front of us and behind us, and maybe even between the legs or something. Right now its quite difficult to even aim the phone at the bottom part of the body (pls increase sensitivity of phone movement lol), so more positions and it'd be an instant 10/10 feature. On top of that, using emotes during photos/streaming would be actually peak too, it just screams "a must have feature". AND OF COURSE, streams - remove the battery that limits the streaming, for the love of god. That's just a weird restriction. Either decrease the money gained from streams by a lot, or make a cap of that money gained per run, but just make the streaming possible indefinitely. And also, streaming should give some EXP during the process as I've described in the Quests part.

Character customization: Definitely needs more seleka-ish features - small boobs, head size, more height options (rn it still feels kinda the same both at 0.0 and 1.1 because of other factors), eye color, different hairstyles. As for skin color, i kinda don't care, but if there were tan line options, I'd sell my soul to you - it's an exhibitionism game after all, and 90% of the time we'll be looking at the naked body.

Progression: Emote slots should 100% be accessible at the start, at least a 2-3, so that we can use the normal ones at the beginning. The current progression system is just weird. Map 1 has tasks that can only be completed after reaching exhib level 2+ or after buying items, really restricting the player in how they play, incentivizing the dumb grind (bumrushing the quests or streaming repeatedly outside the house). It shouldn't be as linear as it is, more freedom is ALWAYS welcome, especially in this kinda game. Again, check out how Seleka did it.

I dunno if I forgot or left out something, maybe I'll add stuff later if it comes to mind, but for now.. that's it. Wrote a whole damn essay about a hentai game, I'm pathetic... LMAO.

Great game, promising dev. Uwuzaki, I wish you the best and keep up the good work. As I've said, the exhib-only games aren't a common sight, so don't be averse to taking ideas/things from other sources if in the end it will make your own game better. Keep cooking as you do, this game might very well be one of the best out there by release or sooner, since even this version is great. And ofc, don't listen to mindless haters or straight up stupid people ("the game is too easy" - what do they expect, a hentai Dark Souls? LOL) and keep the game going.

That doesn't really work.
If a girl walks up to you and lifts her whole shirt up right in your face, it's not going to take 10 full seconds for you to realize what's going on and start reacting. That'd just make the NPCs seem slow in the head.

The bar isn't denoting them noticing her, it's Roxanne's own reaction to them.
That's why they gasp or fall over or take pictures.
It's not suspicion, they know what they're looking at.
The bar filling up is just the girl losing her nerve.

That's why i suggested moving it from them to her.

Seleka's isn't really repeatable.
Like, the basic quests do work the same way as here. Something like "spend 30 seconds naked near an NPC without them noticing" or something.
However, you still get a slow trickle of points for being naked, or near people, even after you've completed the mission.

So there's a quest system, but you also get gradual exp just by doing exhibition stuff.

I suggested giving money instead of exp for that, because I assume the limited exp distribution is intentional.
I figure the dev doesn't want people to be able to just repeat the same easy tricks over and over to level up to the next tier, you have to complete progressively trickier tasks, that way things stay fresh.

Slowly gaining money just for doing lewd things though... that gives more incentive to actually do things.
I booted up the game to explore the city map and remind myself what it was like, and I found myself just sorta walking around and not doing anything exciting.
Because I've cleared that map. Even if I have Roxxane run up to people and flash them, or find a quiet place to stash her clothes... nothing will happen.
There's no progression and no gain.
Now, that's not strictly necessary, but the world doesn't really react to you doing things either, so there's no internal motivation either.
If I could lure a bunch of guys over and get them acting lewd, taking photos, jerking off and trying to touch roxxane, that'd be neat.
If I could bait a girl into stripping off with me or maybe do something interesting with a police-girl (trip her up and leave her handcuffed nude to a railing?) then it'd be something.
But you can't.

Once all the missions are complete, it feels like there's not much point interacting with the level anymore.

Seleka's city-level lets you play with vending machines and doorbells, which is a pretty low-level of interactivity, but it's at least something.

I've always advocated for a more interactive level. Cameras to pose for (which results in the police being called?) A chase to initiate, which you have to run away from? something you can press and have something happen? A locker to hide in. Maybe a bell to ring to draw attention to one side of the map? (and away from another)
Crawlspaces to enter, barriers to drop to bar entry for npcs.
The mall has a clothes dryer, but it doesn't do much.

Maybe have a closed-down shop in the city-level that you can sneak into, then pose naked in the window?
With the glass window in the way, Roxxane doesn't have to worry about her safety or people trying to grab her, so she can display herself more boldly.
Then when you're done, you sneak out the back.

It is a good game, but I really don't like the experience gain mechanism of this game, I want to go to the next map to enjoy it, but the experience limit bothers me, there are a lot of tasks that take a lot of time to complete, and this process is definitely not enjoyable. I hope you can change the experience gain mechanism so that several tasks can be completed repeatedly, or the experience point of completing a task can be more than doubled.

uwuzaki Man, 10$ for update? Really? Cyberpunk2077 cost 30$ for full game.

Put at least $2 a month. I think that way people will pay more for the game update.
I looked at their patreon out of curiosity after your message, it costs $5 to receive the updated game, the other tiers receive it a few days earlier

Solid update, but I wish that you could access your postcards mid-game instead of needing to head back to the menu and access the gallery that way... and even then, hints as to how many postcards there are or where they can be achieved would be appreciated.
Is it really being an exhibitionist if there are no other people in the entire city?
...what do you mean? They're sparse, but they're there. Did you ever actually walk out farther than your house's gate?
