One of Lilith's quest is "Find 4 time the key while playing lock out mode" . And I've found the keys more than 4 times but the quest isn't completed yet..
i hadn't have this problem myself but make sure you aren't playing it in god mode and u need to go back to the house without getting caught (game over scene) for it to count

Oooookay, so...

I dunno how many bazillion polygons you got going on in the Library level, but it tanks performance so hard that it's genuinely unplayable. Like, YanSim toothbrush levels of performance tanking. It is BAD. I mean, I'm not exactly running a 5090 here, but the rest of the game was playable at worst. Even the enormous unfinished sakura town gave me no performance issues, so the only reason left is the books themselves.

I had already completed the rest of the content up to that with no issues. Aside from the Supermarket condom quest that is literally impossible to complete (the in-level quest menu doesn't even list it), and the plushie that I am not convinced exists either.

As for other problems:

I have camera problems when using a dildo, where it just makes me stare at her feet and I can do nothing about it. This might have to do with the fact that I made her so short. But if I don't do that, then she takes up so much screen space that the game is legitimately harder, because you can't zoom out far enough, let alone adjust camera height.

You can't zoom out in the character creation menu either, and it is WAY too close to see any hair changes in the Face menu. Pubic hair also doesn't update until you close the menu. Just had pubic hair color randomly reset to default for no reason, too.

The price tags in the shop are too tiny to read. I can JUST BARELY make out the numbers on most of them.

There are no hair physics at all. Jarring when so many other things do have physics.

There are clipping issues with gloves while wearing something with sleeves, and some accessories just straight-up do not appear with some clothes. (The garter belt is a big offender.) A lot of clothes and one style of bangs (out of two) float in mid-air if her tits are below Tiddy Monster-tier. Which is a bit of a shock, considering the smallest you can go is F-cup.

The only way to flash both top and bottom is to remove one or the other. I don't see a good reason for this. They're mapped to two separate buttons and don't conflict with eachother in any way I have been able to find.

The second set of emotes is identical to the first. I don't know why it's there.

You can get outside the map in the metropolis level and watch the cars go Beyblade on the on-ramp. I walked the entire highway. The constant and insanely loud car honks are maddening.

Her barefoot footsteps are so loud that I never take her shoes off. Her sprint breathing also gets pretty annoying after a while, and her walk speed is excruciatingly slow, so I stopped going naked until I have a specific reason.

The NPC menus use three different confirm buttons, including the mouse, which still causes flashing while in the menu.

I have yet to find any clues as to the photo conditions. The conditions are specific enough that there really should be at least SOME kind of hint, but as far as I am aware, there are zero. Not that there's really much incentive to find them, I guess.

The things this does that Manaka doesn't are swimming, streaming, environmental improvised outfits, social media, a real-time day-night cycle (which really doesn't add much, honestly), interactible NPCs (who don't really do much), lack of (very light) mosaic, and you're not required to use a coat. This is also a lot less difficult and leans more into actually being seen, and has, like...5% more story, lol.

The ability to use clothes, social media feature, and stronger themes of actively flaunting are really the only things I like more in Roxanne.

...and the trains. I like trains.

The thing I like the least (aside from the jank and poor performance) is the severe lack of character customization and strict limit of body type. I don't really like Tiddy Monsters, and that's all Roxanne has on the menu. Sure, it's not doing anything wrong. It doesn't have to appeal to me, I can always eat somewhere else, that's fair, but it would be nice.

In all fairness, I have not experienced anything game-breaking or blatantly unfair, except that one time I was randomly game-over'd by absolutely nobody in the Metropolis.

In a perfect world, we could put both games together. But Manaka has more content, much more polish, better visuals, better physics, and better optimization, at less than a quarter of the file size. It has been literally topping the charts for the past month straight for good reason.

The only issue I've ever had is sometimes people on the elevator in the Apartments can see through walls, and that one time someone saw me through the fence in Residential. (I also don't quite understand the purpose of Casual Outfits.) I have 48 hours in it and my record is 11,000 points before I chickened out.

Ah. I thought steam censored nudity in general, not just because of the sex. That is great.
if you live neither in germany nor in china, then you are fine.
most nsfw games on steam are only blocked in those 2 countries.
(though australia seems to become anti-nsfw thanks to collective shout. so nsfw games in general might get blocked there soon)

where is the shop in the city? I tried to follow the comment about taxi in a parking lot and I cannot find it.
edit: from station, go out, turn right, take road to your right, turn left at the first corner (turn away from taxi in parking lot). store will say Sex Shop in purple letters below the windows.

In toy shop, I can't talk to cashier or buy items? I'm at max rank. This game is still so janky
E: Ok, apparently I did buy items by pressing E close to them. Game crashed when I went home but when I reloaded the toys were in inventory

This is only the case in the dialogue menu. In the task menu, it's probably completed. I have completed all her tasks (except the plushie that I am convinced does not exist) and in her dialogue menu, it still says that's incomplete. Maybe it's because I completed something else first, but considering the fact that you need three different confirm buttons to navigate the same dialogue menu, I'm more inclined to think it's just broken.

Lockout mode isn't the handcuffs you find in the city, it's in the menu before you enter the stage. Where the difficulty is.

The game is still technically not complete which is the interesting part, but I'm surprised you didn't mention the English in this game being horrendous. I pretty much agree with everything you say though, even the boob monster part. The clothes clipping is especially noticeable with swimsuits, and the one really annoying thing with the pool stage is despite the menu having a "start with swimsuit" option, the option doesn't really make any sense. If I saw, wear a short with a swimsuit underneath, it will start me with the swimsuit and no shirt on. If go in without a swimsuit on, it won't put me in a swimsuit. So what is even the meaning of this option?

As for the postcards, there's a thread on the discord where it tells you how to get every postcard.

The Metro is way too big, and there's a whole other downstairs area in the Pool stage that just exists for some reason. There's no challenges involved there either.

Also did you notice that if a car notices you, it will move around like a human PC? Honestly terrifying. And that really should not be a thing, unless the game wants to be humorous like that. Make airplanes and helicopters look at you too while we're at it.

But I think an unstuck option for the game would be great. And the size of the City really needs to be reduced. Heck, I think the Metro and City should be split into two/three different stages on their own. Or add loading zones between long points so it isn't some slog getting around with slowpoke roxanne.

Also, the mosaic in this game is pretty bad. I get that people aren't gonna use it anyway, but if it is gonna be there it should actually work properly like in Roshutsu. Seeing a mosaic while the clothes are still on is bad, and not having a third option for AV (where it only censors the genitalia) would be good for selling in Japan.

The crouch action in this game is also just a second crawl, which makes no sense. There should be a proper crouch. I know this is an exhibitionist game, but I was expecting more *stealth* elements. This game is honestly quite lacking in the stealth department. Not saying you have to have a mini-map with sight cones for NPCs, but at least different states of "notice nothing", "distracted by something else", "noticing you", and "see you". It'd be cool if there were different types of areas on a map. Like bright areas, dim areas, and dark areas. Bright areas where vision is 100%, dim areas like back alleys and areas of low light having reduced vision, and dark areas having highly reduced vision. Then you can play around with that if you're trying to do a stealth challenge. Though I do think a mini-map would still be a great idea so you know the points of interest.

Also, there doesn't seem to be a *volume* mechanic in the game either. You'd think people would notice if they heard the sound of peeing or climaxing.

Also NPCs are still running into walls randomly, and they can occasionally see through walls like in the Mall stage.

And the most annoying thing is how if you take off your swimsuit on the pool stage and then put it back on, it's suddenly considered exposure to wear your swimsuit... at the pool. This can even happen on other stages too, like it happened at the mall with me once when I was washing my clothes in the washer. And these were regular clothes too, nothing missing. So it made even less sense.

you can move the camera up and down in the character customization screen by pressing W and S. this way you can actually see, what you are setting up there. (no zoom though)

would be nice to be able to flash top and bottom simultaniously! also a setting if the hands stay on the clothes when flashing or not (which would enable doing emotes in a flashing state!!!) (there are to many restrictions in this game in gereral)

i was working on making a list of hints how to unlock postcards. its not complete yet (and not precise!) and i dont know if i ever complete it, but at least you should be able to get the ten postcards challenge done with it! file is attached to this post. many of the cards are about getting caught, wich is impossible in god mode (not a complain, but you cant even get the police on stage to maybe get a picture with one of the sexy uniformed ladys - that would be nice^^)...

as for story: it is a sandbox game, it does not need a story! you can make your own story playing the game, especially through the social media function (like her discovering the pleasures of exposure and sharing her experiences with the world - even corrupting people into it! i, for example, made the main character have a mom and a sister, who she tries to get into her spicy habit aswell:D and a schoolfriend, too! - but that really has be be unfucked, for example by making it actually possible to get the snapshot you aim for (restrictions in camera function and position etc) and getting rid of that ridicilous randomness-factor in getting likes when posting something>>>adjustability is the key to make a great sandbox game!)

npcs getting stuck is still is one of the biggest problems in this game. they cant even get on a sidewalk if they are off it, because the step is to big to get over it!oO

why a nudist beach? tits on a beach is like sand on.. well.. a beach...^^ but making npcs flash would be nice (not just lilith and luna)

in general the main problem with this game is the lack of adjustability! everything you hardcode into a sandbox game actually restricts more freedom, than that it gives!
so extending the options menu adding switches and control bars for lots and lots of stuff is a good idea:
like
-camera position, direction, tilt(?) or in wich hand it is
-npc behavior, reactions, maybe a button to "call" some npcs that are nearby or make an interaction menu to set their specific behavior (like: make this one ignore me, stay near me, look at my boobs, always turn back on me etc...)
-the excessive character idle animations and her face (smile yes or no, winking, that white breath coming out of her mouth etc)
-ability to choose the hand for the phone and actually adjust the position etc (also to make the phone menue less sluggish!)
-adjust or even stop the clock or set a time to get pictures in the desired lighting/time of day
-and lots and lots of stuff...^^
basically everything to give the player freedom instead of forcing stuff on him...

restrictions are crap, freedom is great!
or:
with great adjustability, there comes great freedom!:D

Roxanne has been officially released on Steam (no Early Access!)
This was necessary. Steam no longer allows adult games in Early Access, because the UK has become a 1984 shithole and it's trying to force everyone else to do the same.

I can forgive bad English, as long as it's still legible. From the nature of the English, I figured the dev is probably Russian.

The point of the "start in a swimsuit" option is to prevent the swimsuit from being considered underwear. You need to be wearing one, obviously. It's kinda funny that even the lewdest swimsuit in the game doesn't draw attention this way. Can't complain.

As for the postcards, there's a thread on the discord where it tells you how to get every postcard.
Having to seek outside information for something like that is not great.

The Metro is way too big, and there's a whole other downstairs area in the Pool stage that just exists for some reason. There's no challenges involved there either.
I mean, in fairness, there was a big flashing "work in progress" sign sitting there in that map right next to the elevator, with hazard pattern and everything. In the newest update, that area is occupied. I haven't gone there, since the absolute performance bomb in the Library kinda killed all my motivation to keep playing.

I thought the size of the Metro was okay; I would rather be able to go anywhere and there not be anything there than be prevented from going there with invisible walls. Eliminator Kaede has a similarly large map, probably the largest contiguous map I've ever seen in a video game, but it has a point in that game, since it's a wave-based survival shooter. There's collectibles around the map, too. It would be nice if there was more of a point to it here; it's just kinda there, but it's okay. For me, exploration is a reward in itself.

Speaking of movement speed, if you use the Trip button while sprinting and stop sprinting during the animation, you can recover stamina during the animation and keep going uninterrupted without running out of stamina. It's kind of a pain, but I guess it's engagement.

Also did you notice that if a car notices you, it will move around like a human PC? Honestly terrifying. And that really should not be a thing, unless the game wants to be humorous like that. Make airplanes and helicopters look at you too while we're at it.
I didn't experience that, but it would be pretty horrifying if I did. What I did see was one of the cars spinning around like a Beyblade on the on-ramp of the highway when I got outside the map.

The crouch action in this game is also just a second crawl, which makes no sense. There should be a proper crouch. I know this is an exhibitionist game, but I was expecting more *stealth* elements. This game is honestly quite lacking in the stealth department. Yeah, there's not really very engaging stealth gameplay here right now. Non-repeatable objectives, too much open space in many maps, and there doesn't seem to be a light-based visibility system (strange, considering the day-night cycle). I've found that almost all exhibitionist games have this kind of problem. Most of them have NPCs just move around randomly based on RNG, so you're waiting eons for the planets to align to do anything.

To be fair, NPCs don't randomly turn around for no reason. They at least seem to have a destination, and often an actual goal. That in itself is commendable, and it's an excellent foundation for implementing compelling stealth mechanics. Crawling also has a purpose, and the prone crawl is a nice addition to hide in more places.

why a nudist beach? tits on a beach is like sand on.. well.. a beach...^^ but making npcs flash would be nice (not just lilith and luna)
I think most of us would agree that a nudist beach would be a nice addition to a game like this. Being able to walk around nude without being penalized would be a nice change of pace. I would personally have some NPCs give you applause for masturbation in that area. Having it be a separate section of the beach would make it stand out and allow for a wider variety of objectives.

I also don't think random NPCs flashing would add anything, and would even cheapen the experience for the player.

I disagree with this. Most of these would be difficult to implement and would add very little, if not actively detract from the experience. Being able to adjust the time of day is an exception; it would be convenient and probably easy to implement. I like the idle animations; it makes Roxanne feel much more lively, and adds a lot of variety to selfies.

Being able to call NPCs to a spot would only be a valuable addition if it was in the context of giving those NPCs a show without being penalized. That might be doable, but I feel like it's more of a "put it in the sequel" kind of feature.

Having a free mode where you could choose the behavior of NPCs would kinda defeat the purpose of the game, and I doubt most players would use it if it were implemented. It would only really be valuable for taking screenshots.
