I think Gertha is out because of Patreon. Something about them being family is a no go for patreon.

Yeah, I feel like it really detracts from the game by limiting sex with family, like what's the point of them being there when the point is to gain a harem? They could at least be sneaky and say you're adopted or something to make it work, but so far nothing.
Doesn't help that actual smut is so few and far between.
removing that content was a personal decision. yes, patreon has policy on it, but the game was always firmly within their guidelines. Ultimately it just wasn't something we couldn't be proud of anymore, and we felt making excuses like that one would just be insulting. It's not something we want to exhibit in our game. and we will do our best to purge its presence despite our flawed premise.

Could you tell us the reason? We'd all at least like to know why it was cut. Those characters are still sexualized, just not by us, so you have to understand at least some of our feelings towards that. Also will there be more smut? I found it pretty lacking, it's there but it's also feels like a afterthought.

As a topic it's something that made us deeply uncomfortable for two characters related to interact in any form of sexual manner, so we removed it so we felt more comfortable when writing interactions between those characters that aren't sexual. There will still be sexual content for them, just more witnessed by the player rather than actually causing or partaking. For the smut part in the game description it explains it but simply put we wanted to make a game focused on transformation content first with smut/sex content second. We understand this obviously will disappoint some people and that's okay since we understand our game won't be to everyone's tastes. We do plan to add more sex scenes, but it's more something we do if we have the inspiration to do so or if we feel it would help as an interaction between two characters
Personally, I don't really care, never was interested in incest, was kinda just something I ignored. However I do find it interesting how people feel uncomfortable about some things but not others in this industry. Like mind controlling people into being your slave is fine, but it better not be someone blood related lmao. Just saying I always find it funny where the line is drawn in these games that are inherently depraved in some way or another.
The game is primarily a transformation fetish game. while smut is apart of that, it's not really the main draw. if transformation doesn't do it for you, then the game might not suit your interest.
as creators, we are uncomfortable with incest content, its just something that kills our excitement. we are still invested in gethra and akarion and they will still have their own sexy and fun scenes, just not with the characters they are related too.
for me its a matter of what is and isn't real. mind control is fake and exclusive to the realm of fantasy, therefore safer to explore. Incestuous behavior is not fictional, its very real and has a chance of hurting people. obviously there is still nuance to that, but we are doing our best to proceed in a safe and reasonable manor.

I can understand the creators' decision to remove incest content due to personal discomfort, and I respect that. However, I find it a bit contradictory and, frankly, a bit hypocritical that characters are sexualized and placed in sexual situations in a game where the focus is transformation and harem-building, but the player is restricted from engaging with them due to their familial relationship.
It feels inconsistent with the game's core mechanics and themes, where the whole point is for players to form relationships, engage with the characters, and create a harem. If these characters are sexualized in the game, but the player is not allowed to partake in those interactions because they are family, it feels like an odd limitation—especially in a game that seems to encourage those kinds of dynamics.
I can see how this might be intended for those who enjoy voyeuristic content, but that is a niche and doesn't seem to reflect the broader intentions of the game. It would be nice to have a more consistent approach that aligns with the game's themes, or at least some options to either ignore these restrictions or transform the characters in a way that removes the family connection. It’s a bit disappointing that characters like Gertha, whom I enjoy, aren’t fully accessible for the kind of interaction the game promotes.
