One is a genuine problem that occurs in real life and has cause many people to feel uncomfortable before with the only exception being people here who are vocal about it's removal. The other is something that can only happen in fantasy and is presented in a way where the serious weight of it is shown as such, since ultimately this is a game about the impact such a thing can have on the world and the people in it. If you're so disappointed, then why are you still wasting your time complaining about it rather than finding another game to get your kicks? It's clear at this point we're not reimplementing it due to how we felt about it, so at this point you're just doing this in what I can only assume is some sorta "gotcha" attempt. Like we've said, plenty of games have what you're looking for so as my partner put it so perfectly, suck an egg

You have very selective hearing. What I'm saying is that if that's where the line is being drawn, it'd be more morally consistent to pull the plug on this project entirely.

The difference is there's no magical coins to force reality to change for others, and while yes manipulation is a thing I feel you don't understand the difference between fantasy and reality, but also comfort. We have a disclaimer in the beginning warning people of the themes since yeah it can make people uncomfortable. However, the difference is we as the devs are uncomfortable with incestual content and in truth we regret ever even adding it. Hell we regret it even more because people like you continue to harass us over it. The game isn't getting the plug pulled like you say, and it's clear that you're enjoying all this drama you're stirring especially considering the first post you made on this page was to cause it. We're not trying to take a moral high ground, we just want no part of what everyone seems to be upset about us removing. Now, like I recommended earlier, find another game if it bothers you so much. very well said. I think we're in agreement that including themes in our game doesn't mean we condone them. but still, what makes incest different from the other questionable themes is it's more likely to upset people, and its something we aren't comfortable writing. RH is at its core a power fantasy. it explores both falling victim to a corrupt system and the whims of others or taking control of that system for your own ends. its cringy and a bit sad, but people have a good time with it, and taking out your frustrations on fictional world leaders is often preferable to getting wrapped up in the news cycle. I think everyone is able to recognize that and the absurdity of the premise.

but part of why we planned to include incest content when we first started out is because it was normalized too us. there are a good few TF games that include incest themes that we took note of when starting out. incest was never one of our interests, but in the beginning we felt indifferent towards it. we had a very "cast a wide net, catch a lot of fish" attitude going into the project, so we left the door open too including it. a decisions I deeply regret. In the end, I don't want our project to normalize that theme in the same way other games normalized it for me.

Honestly, I'd have more understanding and respect for the devs choice on incest if it was as simple as they didn't want to do it anymore. I wouldn't particularly be happy or agree, but hey I can understand simply not wanting to partake in or produce such anymore.

But this whole moral busybody shit about "not wanting to normalize" incest and treating like its some "great" evil or crime, especially compared to the other fetishes and kinks that exist both in this and other porn games, is frankly as stupid as it is infantilizing to your prospective customers.

Because all it sounds like to me, is that you assume those who play your game are incapable of distinguishing between fiction and reality, and would somehow come to the conclusion that "Actually, incest is A-OK! I now want to perform it/see it IRL". Most people are well adjusted enough to be able to look at something problematic in fiction, and KNOW that its real life counterpart is not ok or good in anyway. And those who can't do that shouldn't even be on sites like this in the first place.

But that's just my 2 cents based on the last 3 or so pages of comments, feel free to take or leave them.

I'm looking through the walkthrough right now, and I'm seeing some stuff about the final challenge. I'd assumed there would be more events after the fifth one, but it's seeming like the emphasis is more on replaying different paths than it is continuing down one path for a longer amount of time. Totally fine by me, just different from what I was expecting.
