We're testing some changes to the backend regarding token expiration.
Currently, if your session is expired you should get auto-logged out and see a message saying your session is expired - this happens on torrent download. We're going to make this a bit more user-friendly in the coming days.
Hopefully we'll be done with that bug very shortly. Big thanks to Le Pew !

We need to finish testing it and make sure it works first
Once that's done we'll probably set it to a month and leave it at that. I'd prefer not to set it too high because i'd rather people continually use one account, rather than create one -> clear browser cache -> forget login -> create new account. Ultimately it doesn't really matter to us but the number of user accounts is the only real statistic we have to gauge usage (aside from active peers on torrents obviously).

I have a humble suggestion. Would it be possible for you to share the torrent files as magnet links instead of downloading torrent files? It might be more practical that way.

We got a lot of feedback when we tried using magnets and a bunch of people were having issues. It wouldn't import to the torrent client, it mightn't start at all, their 20 year old torrent client can't use magnets. Things like that. We can't force people to update, nor can we help troubleshoot everyone that was having issues so instead we just disabled them entirely. It's pretty unlikely it'll make a return tbh. Sorry.

A question for you. Noticed you are not updating one of the projects here. And I want to preface it by saying I'm not currently playing the game, so there is no urgency for me, it's just one of the projects that's "on the list" to maybe play one day (and I prefer to have them already on my drives in case angry Karens or other unnatural disasters will continue to make things more difficult):

From what I can see, your last update of the collection was from January 2024
And finally, the question: considering that in this instance my need to DL is not urgent, is it OK/desirable from your perspective to bring it to your attention like this?
Anyway, whatever your answer is, keep up the good work. I consider your torrent the absolute best form of distribution and your work very valuable to the forum. Wish your links could be added to OPs of the games.

Yeah, I think it is exactly how it works: posting any thread adds it to "watched" category (you can "unwatch" it on top-right of the page). Also, if you ignore any of the notification, it will stop sending you new ones concerning this thread until you enter it again.
You're good! I just wanted to chime in to say thanks. Those torrents are a big help for people who don't want to deal with browser-based DLs of 8+ gigs, especially with shitty internet.
