I remember playing a long ass time ago a game where you started in a cell and at the start you could choose to be a male/female comoner/noble prisoner (although at the time only the female commoner path was implemented). From that moment you could resist your captors or submit (through various choices) and you would have to be their slave serving wine and stuff like that, i think they made a sequel where you were a princess/you had a princess from a recently fallen kingdom and had to navigate the politics around the whole thing (orcs might have been involved).
