It takes 3 hours to export the main dialogue file. Anyone know a faster way to convert to rvdata2 than Translator++? The file is 10000+ lines.

have you tried SLRMOD or DazedMTLTool?
or mtool but i'm not sure if it still grabs line by line instead of whole text boxes

It's going. This was a mistake, but it's going.
This is like if you wanted to do your first indie game and started making Halo.

All my initial estimates were wrong, because I didn't realize the dialogue file is actually about 3x as big as initially expected. Most of the work I had done at the point of initial estimation involved 1-2 line sentences, but I hadn't thoroughly looked into the Common Dialogue file. It's mainly 3-4 line sentences and is where most of the jokes/hard to translate things are. It's not impossible, but I assumed it was all 1-2 line stuff like all the other files I'd done up to that point.

It's just... A lot of work for one person. I'm not giving up yet, but I am definitely bored. I didn't realize how many different ways one shrine maiden can get raped (¬_¬)

Maybe you can find some way to motivate yourself?

Like, I dunno, rewarding yourself for finished work!

Or opening up a subscription page (Like Patreon or Subscribestar) to let people support you?

I appreciate the sentiment!
The reward is playtesting the game, even if it takes 4 hours each time I upload new dialogue...
As for the subscription page, I don't know if that violates site ToS and I would feel somewhat wrong profiting off of someone else's game, even if it is technically my work. I am considering it though.

Well, as long as you don´t offer anything "exclusive" on your Subscription page (thus incentivising people to give you money) it should be fine!

If your subscription doesn´t offer any "advantage" or "extras" that non Subscribers don´t get then the only reason people give you money there would, technically, be to support you as a person or creator!

At least that´s how I think it should logically be!
