Ah, I see. Well, on the one hand that would imply there's more, which is good and all, but would still presumably have the same broken issues. Damn. I hope it gets patched and we get the full updated version here. Because much as I hate to join the crowd of negative voices, as is this game is, well, disappointing to say the least.

Sometimes if something gets a bunch of negativity, it's because it's deserved. It's just as contrarian to refuse to criticize a bad thing, as to criticize a good thing.
Trial versions aren't supposed to be broken half-finished version of the real thing; they're supposed to be a slice of the finished product that let the player judge whether it's worth buying. If that's not what this is, the dev is to blame for it; if that is what this is, the dev is to blame for making a bad game.

That's all well and good, and I very much agree; but lately a lot of the "criticism" I've seen around this site, particualrly in certain threads, are massively exaggerated or unrelated to the actual game (and instead personal issues with the dev(s)), or else utterly empty statements that say nothing useful or helpful and instead primarily consist of "IT SUCKS DEV SUCKS FUCKOFF" (to paraphrase). On top of that, they have a very caustic, personally aggressive attitude about it and don't just say their piece, then leave; instead they linger around repeatedly posting the same negative comments over and over again, basically spamming the thread. (look at the Project X thread, for one of the best examples- nothing but a negativity circlejerk for a while now) That's why I've gotten to where I'm automatically a bit skeptical any time I see a game getting heavily "criticized" around here.
You can quite literally fall off the level if you just run left after starting game. Don't let wall give you wrong idea, it's there just for decorations. If trial version has a bug like this (solvable by creating a single fucking 2DPhysics brush), I'm pretty sure it's fine to trash this game all you want, since author obviously couldn't care any less about making it actually function.
I love you too, Xol. If there are some greedy devs, that produce digital garbage I'm going to call them out for it and you bet I'm gonna tell them that they suck. Its what they deserved. I think you just know one of those garbage devs personally and try to defend them desperately for some reason. Although you very well know that they only produce trash.
By all means point out specific flaws or bad behavior of the dev. (preferably something more substantive than "they suck") But repeating it endlessly anytime there's new activity in the thread is nothing but hateboner-induced spam.
Utterly baseless assumption. I do not know the devs and in fact until relatively recently had lost track of the whole project for a couple years due to its inactivity. I'd be totally neutral on the whole issue if it weren't for the obnoxious, repetitive hate-spam on that thread, especially if anyone dares to suggest they still like the game and want its development to continue. We get it, you don't like the devs, you've said your piece, so move on.
The game is very good but it is not quite finished and can improve a lot and be an incredible game getting more themes, enemies, weapons, powers, among other things
The game still has some bugs and problems one is that when you free yourself from an enemy immediately it takes you back and you must put a push to move away the enemy and be able to attack or as the portal that does not say how to enter, among other problems

If the developer didn't post the thread, they're probably not reading it on f95. Especially if the game is Japanese.
