If you get lucky and find an empty spot with cages and manage to catch a hen, you can literally farm eggs from her
As that "random commenter", allow me to clarify a few things. The game was originally made for the Game Jam "Strawberry Jam 8." The creator never provided a download link, making the game only playable within a browser. I felt like the game had a lot of potential, so I did a bit of tomfoolery to get the files for the game and recreated the project. The creator didn't allow downloads when it was posted on the site but thankfully some random commenter was able to download it before it was completely taken down from their Itch.
Ayy, cheers for uploading it! Didn't expect it to get nuked either. Did the creator ever respond to you? They seemed quite radio silent about this game from day one, then it vanishes not long after they post a new much less 'frowned upon' kink game.As that "random commenter"
No, I never heard anything from the creator. Most people aren't too keen on sharing source files to games, but I figured this could be an exception. I haven't done much with the files since the upload tbh. I did enable hens to have dicks(makes no sense, but it's funny) and messed with the animations a bit for fun though, lol. I was mainly trying to upgrade the game from Godot 3.5 to Godot 4.x, but 4.x made some changes with the animation framework that's made things difficult.Ayy, cheers for uploading it! would you ever think of making a more fleshed out version? this game is quite fun as just a little jam game but i think its got potential as something more immersive as well.As that "random commenter", allow me to clarify a few things. There was a particular post that had a LOT of likes, which was asking if the creator wouldn't mind posting the game's source files. Obviously, it wouldn't be exactly moral to share someone else's hard work, so I posted a comment asking if it would be okay or not to share the project I created and attached a link to a modified version of the game (I added that silly looking text trying to explain the controls, and added controller support. The game originally was WASD only).
Never expected to see it pop-up here, nor for the game to get completely nuked.
I thought that might be possible, but never managed to combine 'finding empty spot with cages', 'catching something' and 'getting back to that spot' in the same game.If you get lucky and find an empty spot with cages and manage to catch a hen, you can literally farm eggs from her
You can, indeed, sell it and it is worth a hefty chunk of coin. What in the world does the golden seed do? You can't eat it for energy and I've never made it to camp to attempt to sell it if you even can
well if ya at lest got the name of em, you can at lest give cred to the base and make a attempt at things with ya own.No, I never heard anything from the creator. At this point though, I guess you could consider it abandoned? I don't have as much creativity and ambition as others might, but it'd be cool to see this game evolve more. If there's any interest, I'll see if I can attach my source project in another post. I don't have enough posts for links, but attachments seem to be fine?
You mean like a mod? Something like some people do with "Rogue Like Evolution" with "Prime mod" or "Extended mod"? Or old mod packs for "Urban Demons"well if ya at lest got the name of em, you can at lest give cred to the base and make a attempt at things with ya own.
Yep it generates randomly. But to help you out, I'd recommend going into one of the edges of the map. If you don't see any characters walk through bushes and look if you get a prom to pick something up. You will find a lot of seeds to eat, since they are not worth too much, unless you find a golden one or get an even rarer golden egg, (But don't bother with them if the camp is nowhere to be seen). Once you are at one of the edges of the map and didn't find a camp. Let a NPC catch you and kindly show you the direction where the camp is. Simply look at what direction it's going while mashing buttons to escape. Is all spawn and slave camp random? Or is there a specific way to find it?
Is there a way to convert the source to game or how to set hunger drain slower or food stat when start higher?I think I'll stop being pedantic and let people have at it. As I mentioned, I do feel this game has a lot of potential, but I have a hard time sticking with things. I might try to do a little more with it, but my strength is in coding, and I feel like more artwork is needed to really bring the game forward. I'll attach the file here and make note of a few more things.
The creator's name is "InfinityDoom", which the TC, Lerd0, was thoughtful enough to provide links to their Patreon and Itch.io. I am in no way affiliated with the creator. Respect the wishes of the creator if they're to speak up, and be sure to give them credit unless asked not to.
About the File: The attached file is my "Source Project" of the game, in the rawest form I can manage. It doesn't have the modifications I made to it, so it should function just as it originally did on Itch.io.
Instructions: Download and unzip somewhere on your computer. Download and Open Godot 3.5(stable). Import the project file, and edit/run. Hopefully, unless I made a mistake somewhere, you should be able to immediately compile and run the game. It'll probably say that there's a few errors, but I believe that's due to how the code is structured, and it should still run fine.
