From an artistic perspective I understand that he likes to draw in black and white and doesn't like to colorize. I don't understand it from a business perspective. Seeing the sentiment that is here on the forum, it must have had an impact on the number of his supporters.
I will put forward a thesis.
If he focused on black and white drawings and hired a cheap artist to colorize them for him, he would have been better off financially.
However, since I am satisfied with the effects of my colorization, I looked through his other black and white works, and the only set that is still worth spending time coloring for me is the one with Lara Croft. Maybe also with Velma, which he drew not in black and white but in sepia. Apart from that, he only drew some sketches and his half-colored drawings in that faded way that I personally don't like. (I'm not counting his femboy works.) Nothing that would interest me very much.
