v0.2.2
I just retrieved the sword from the isekai hero guild, but the quest doesn't register as completed.

Back in town, Jericho took the sword from me for safekeeping, and told me that i should report the quest's completion. BUt the guild master just asks me how I'm doing, and when I speak with Jericho in the kantine, he tells me that we are to collect the sword.

Jericho is outside in front of the guild as well, but he just gives a trivial dialogue.

Speak with the receptionist at the front desk. That's what I meant by "give your report" but I can see how that's vague. I'll clear up that dialog in 0.2.3. Apologies for the confusion.

I did speak with her, but she too gives me just a trivial conversation, and the quest is still in my log marked as active; it says I have yet to speak with Jericho.

Also, I can take the quests about the rats and about killing the bandits again at the guild, but there are no more bandits. I'm omw now to to check if the rats are back...

I like the shower scene btw with the peeping Tom.

Would it be possible to get a copy of your savefile? I think I know the problem for the Isekai Order mission but want to make sure. And that would also help me figure out what's going on with the Guild missions. You should be able to complete each mission once, so if something's popping back up again, that's odd.

Thanks for the save file. The good news is that you can talk to the receptionist right now and complete the mission. Basically, the flow is supposed to be:
1. Talk to Jericross up in the bar area.
2. Meet Jericross outside.
3. Go through the dungeon and collect the sword.
4. Talk to the receptionist to complete the mission.

Due to a bug in the way I designed the mission, it was possible to start step 2 without first doing step 1. The receptionist expects steps 1-3 to be done before she continues, and the "Hey, you're still on a mission" message happens because step 1 isn't complete yet. But in the save you sent, you've subsequently talked to Jericross (basically, did things in order 2-3-1) and that is sufficient to complete the mission. I do already have a fix in place for 0.2.3 that will prevent the out-of-order issue from occurring, but once you talk to the receptionist, you'll be good to go on that front.

I also took a quick peek at the bandit mission and that was kind of weird. I'll probably need to do more testing on my own to figure out how to get into that state and then how to avoid getting into it, but in the meantime, I've force-completed the quest for you so it doesn't show up in your quest tracker and you're able to get to the Eastern Highway. This area will be important for several missions. I've attached the updated save file.

Btw, re: the order in which those quest stages take place: you may want to administrate that with flags, in which bit n of that quest's variable corresponds with stage n having been completed.

When that variable reaches the value 14 (considering that it has three stages), the entire quest is completed.

* I can't find the Thieves Den,

* This CG persists on the screen:

The bitwise operation idea is a good one. I've generally avoided it so far, but as tasks and storylines get more complex, I'll probably end up needing to go that route.

That CG was a late 0.2.2 bugfix that didn't make the initial build due to a mistake on my part. The fix will roll with 0.2.3 and I apologize for not getting it in the build like I anticipated. Ironically enough, if you use the , it has that bugfix in it.

There is no Den of Thieves as such, except for maybe the Slums as a whole. Instead, this is the name for an overarching mission that will cover a variety of locations, parties, and persons and be about 1/2 of Act II when everything is in place. If you're stuck at any point, the Quest description should tell you where to go next--a lot of the missions tied to it will be in the Mercantile District, the Textile District, and the Slums. And if you're stuck at a particular point and it's not clear enough, I'm happy to answer questions.

And when in doubt, sleep and check out the Ready Room in the bottom right corner of the Diplomatic Quarters. Quite a few events are tied to those two actions, including the start of a lot of missions.

It'd be really hot if Sadie kept sharing her bed with Neemar in the nude.
I can't help feeling disappointed every night when I see her wearing her clothes when she's asleep.

Funny you mention that. Canonically, she is nude--there are one or two scenes either in 0.2.2 or the in-development 0.2.3 that show a nude Sadie early in the morning, as well as a few script hints from wake-up discussions that she's obviously naked. She wasn't nude in the Crusty Nugget Inn but the bedsheets in the Diplomatic Quarters are so silken and luxurious that she wants 100% of the feel from them.

Visually, I do have a nude Sadie sprite and it's showing up in 0.2.4 along with a few other clothing-related goodies.

Yeah, the sprite is just what I was aiming at.

Why in 0.2.4, and not in 0.2.3 already?

Mostly due to sprint planning. The nude sprite is one part of a clothing-related effort that I wasn't able to fit into the available time for 0.2.3, so I've got the story written up in the backlog and just enough of the assets completed to know that it'll fit into 0.2.4.

I thought this was going to be an ok game, looking at this thread. I thought it would be nothing special, but also not something I'll hate.
It's rare for my initial feeling about a game to be this wrong.

the poker game was a really neat idea
could be a lovely way of corrupting new people after Sadie progresses a bit more
with everybody already being into it and every mouth having tasted everyone present there was little room for escalation.

really hope that gets revisited in the future for the idea is just too hot not to

It's going to take quite a while, but yes. I'm definitely coming back to poker night in Act IV and there will be differences that reflect Sadie's growth as a person sex demon.

But your "corrupting new people" comment did give me an idea for a longer quest in Act III, so thank you for that.

0.2.3 is now available here. Going forward, I'll handle the upload and update process, so there will probably be fewer host locations. But I'll also make sure this gets updated right after my free-to-the-public release posts on Patreon.

Please enjoy and let me know when you find the two dozen blatantly obvious bugs that I really should have caught during the QA process. Also, I'd like to hear if the walkthrough is too verbose, if there are ways I could make it clearer for people to play the game "optimally," or if it hits the mark as-is.

When will the game live up to its "exhibitionism" tag?

Although it's a great game otherwise, it was that very tag that compelled me to try this game, along with the beautiful artwork.

I think Act III is where Sadie will be more of an exhibitionist and I have one set of sequences that directly tie to it. Based on what I have in the outline right now, I'm thinking 3-4 separate scenes over various 0.3.x point releases that ramp up Sadie's level of exposure. There's also another twist on the classic tavern game that will include at least one exhibitionist scene. Most of this will be more hush-hush than "parading down Main Street naked" because the cities Sadie will visit in Act III are fairly unforgiving to indecent exposure. But I've got about 30-40% of the explicit content planned out for Act III, and I can definitely slot in a few more exhibitionist sequences as well as sequences that start that way and end up with sex. Act IV will allow me to push this further, as she'll be going back to places where succubi hang out in numbers, so denizens will be more used to their antics.

In wall clock terms, the most likely time frame for 0.3.0 is either March or April of 2026. The big question is whether Act II wraps up with release 0.2.8 or if I need a 0.2.9--that's still up in the air.
