Quintilus My impression is that the whole "Sakura" series is the same in the sense that the devs switch up the characters, the setting, add a few matching romance/sex-themed scenes...and call it a day. Not bad per se, but once you get to 10+ times of the exact same formula - it gets boring. I think the last time they tried to break out of that mold was Sakura Dungeon - an RPG stood out amongst their plethora of VNs. But that was it. Basically, they make the same thing over and over without trying to change things up. "Tried and true" or "lack of imagination" - who knows, but it works for them.

Nice? Yes. Good? Sort of. Great? No. Imagine thinking something is "cute", but at the same time feeling it lacks some unique flare for it to be "gorgeous". None of them are more than "yet another Sakura".

Sakura games are well known at this point to be the western equivilant of Norn/Miel. They make visual novel shovelware but it's not offensively bad or anything so most people give em a pass

Those two up there told you all you need to know.
Winged-game is always the same re-skinned shit, think Miel games.
But unlike Miel, always ultra-vanilla. Art is nice but not a lot of it, sex is utter snorefest.
People generally only buy their shit because of steam achievements and point shop stuff.
