I agree in theory. It is a good way to avoid burnout (after spending a decent amount of time developing a game)It can be really hard to focus entirely on one project without burning out on it so starting a secondary project is usually good to get the creative juices flowing again. The trick is finding the fine line between getting way too absorbed into a secondary project and finishing that initial project.
