Unity - Samantha [v2.03a] [Walter's Games]

I'll summarize:
horrible optimization, graphics, controls, camera....
bugs in almost any action you do....
to go out to the city it takes a long time to load, in the end I left the game because when I left the store it was bugged, the character went into ragdoll mode and when it loaded me out of the store I was in a limbo between falling out of the map and being on the ground.... I have no words to describe how bad this “game” is made.
it's terrible and unplayable... 0/10 if I could not give it any star to rate it I would...

Samantha is a 3D semi-open world exhibitionist simulator. The female main character is a lewd schoolgirl who's addicted to taking risks and exposing herself in public places, risking all sorts of dangers that lie in the city.

This review is solely based on the first version of the game, 2.02 which is a short demo by itself, so I won't judge it too harshly.

At first, the performance is a concern, as the game runs poorly and sometimes the first-person mode doesn't work. The dev is actively fixing this and expects to see much better performance in the upcoming versions.

The gameplay itself is simple, juggling between happiness and energy, you have to perform the lewd tasks/missions that are present throughout the city. The happiness meter goes down very fast, but it will be fixed in version 2.03.

All the exhibitionist scenes, "H-scenes" as people call on F95, are well done. There is some room for improvement, as they look robotic... however, they use the environment well, taking into consideration the time, place, amount of light, people around them and exposing their body parts in a way that the players can enjoy, as well as put yourself in Samantha's shoes and getting a thrill out of immodesty.

Initially, there was a divide between versions for the paid supporters and free version for public release, but I'm glad the developer has discarded this idea. Maintaining two separate versions, locking things like nudity behind paywall would only lead to annoyance and frustration from players. I totally support the dev in trying to make a living from this game, but withholding your game's experience by segregation has never worked in history... and should never be an option. One version for all.

Huge credits to the developer who is amazing and openly listens to feedback, criticism and ideas.

Some Pros:
+A rare success in the genre of exhibitionism combined with a 3D open-world game.
+The dev doesn't shy away from the dark and brutal reality of rapes, which is a real possibility if someone were to expose herself indecently at night.
+Graphics are good. I wouldn't say it is the best-looking game out there, but it is decent enough to get the job done.
+The FMC wears a normal underwear like any normal female would. Not a fancy thong or going braless... that is completely unrealistic.

Some Cons:
-Performance. Once this is fixed, it would take away almost 80% of the complaints.
-Overuse of visual bloom, vignette, film grain and depth of field.
-Controls could use improvement. Camera as well.
-Some bugs here and there. It's a good thing the dev listens and fixes them if you point it out in the thread.
-Current 2.02 version is a cut-down version/censored. I'm hoping this won't ever happen in the future.

Why the 4-star rating? If I could, I would certainly give it a 5, but right now, Samantha could use a lot more content and new versions and there's a need for commitment and dedication from the dev. Hopefully all the issues will be solved and 2.03 onwards we won't have separate versions either. Once all these are addressed, this game will forever have my 5-stars.

honestly, the game lacks potential as a female like you only watching a girl masturbate her finger or use a toy, also the performance of this game is so bad I can feel my PC burning and the happiness meter dying so fast bro you are trying to make people do speedrun its porn should not add repetitively this is the worse demo launch

9/21/24- Frankly, not very good in this current state. Way too big of a download for a pretty bad looking game. Overuses bloom like crazy, and the models look uncanny. The controls feel horrible to play with, and the game feels very very unpotimized. Better alternatives for the Exhibitionist 3D game are out there, like Seleka and a few other upcoming projects (Seleka 2, Roxanne, etc.)

Unless the dev can get the file size under control and work out these issues, I am not likely to come back to this game like I do with Seleka.

Barely works is a general 2 word review. To explain, the camera controls are awful as when you try too click on any screen menu, it still moves the camera disorienting you, while also not being locked in the winow so whenever you try to look around, there's a chance you will click off screen. There are more complaints, but overall just unplayable.

The game has potential for the niche of exhibitionism games. Currently, it is in early access with optimization errors and bugs that force you to restart to play. The limited content is a small sample of what it could bring in the future and is very similar to the Roxanne game (almost the same concept). I hope this game does not end up abandoned by the author and that the content does not get sidelined in favor of fixing the optimization issues, among other topics.

I think the game has huge potential.

Despite the fact that the camera rotation, light, environment are bad now, the animation is very lame in places, I hope they will change the girl's skeleton itself, make good outlines of the labia, etc. And also make a lot of customizations.

You don't often see Russian/Belarusian developers.
