Hello, everyone. I apologize for the delay between posts and the delay in the release of version 2.2. I had a creative block because I simply didn't know how to continue Sam's story after the missions in the courtyard. Besides, I was just tired of working on the same game. I have a lot of ideas for games, and one project that takes up all my time is boring. So I switched to producing two more games, which I will talk about in future posts. There is a very useful tip that all artists know: if you don't know how to continue a project, distract yourself with other projects and ideas for the old project will come. And the ideas did come. They are currently in the process of being implemented, but I can already show some results.

MISSIONS

2 new missions in the courtyard:

1st mission
is simple - you have to climb through your neighbor's window and jerk off in his bed while he's in the bathroom.

2nd mission is very difficult. Sam will look into the window of his neighbors, where two lesbian twin sisters live who love to have fun with each other.


Plus, they love to talk dirty and call each other all sorts of nasty names when they're having fun. So the mission will be carried out to the accompaniment of their obscene language. Yeah, Sammy has some very... interesting neighbors.


There will be a short cinematic with them. In it, Sam will see them through the window and then decide to enter the house through the door because she knows that the adults are still at work. In Japan, it is common to work from early morning until late at night.


In this mission, you will need to use the ability to sneak and hide for the first time to get past their door and reach the house to masturbate in the one of rooms. 3 missions in the school and schoolyard.

Two of them are simple.

3rd school mission is difficult, and she will gain a new ability—the ability to carry a school backpack


It will be available from the moment Sam wakes up in the morning to go to school. The backpack is needed so that you can put your clothes in it and be able to get dressed at any time, rather than throwing them on the sidewalk. You can disable its display in the settings.

During the mission at school, Sam will ask to leave class to go to the women's restroom, but in reality, she wants to undress and run naked through the school, across all floors, and dance naked on a school desk in an empty classroom. To complete these missions, you need to avoid being caught naked by the janitor and the vice principal, who patrol the school. A backpack will be extremely necessary here, as you will need to get dressed quickly. The mission is slightly easier than the mission with the lesbian sisters, but it is still quite difficult.

3 missions in the subway station

You will need to use the subway after the missions at school, when evening comes And you'll need to get into town to have some fun there.

1st mission will feature a cutscene and will be extremely important in terms of the plot, which will be revealed later. You will need to get inside the subway station to visit the city, but here's the problem: the entrance to the subway is blocked by some crazy homeless guy yelling that someone stole his last bottle of booze and he has a terrible hangover. Your mission is to give him money for booze.

After that, he will thank you, say that you are very kind, and that he is always at your service if you need help. And believe me, you will need his help at the end of the game story.

2nd mission - masturbate while fully clothed so that the police officers patrolling the station doesn't notice you. If they notices you, they will chase you. If one of them catches up with you, you lose.

3rd mission is difficult and takes place in a subway train.

This is the only mission with a timer. When the time runs out, train will stay at your station and you will be able to leave the train, ending up in the city and thus completing the mission.


City missions

When you arrive in the city, you can complete city missions, which you may have seen in version 2.05, but they will be split into separate locations (for normal optimization). You can travel between these locations by going to a bus stop. You may have seen these bus stops in the updated city location in version 2.11. Only at that time, they were useless decorations.
In 2.2 When you sit down at the bus stop, a menu will appear in front of you where you can choose which location to go to.

In addition, I added several new missions to the old set of city missions. For example, after a mission involving naked dancing in some smelly bar in front of a bunch of drunks, Sam decides to go to the beach, where she first gets drunk on cocktails at a local bar, then decides to go to the beach to masturbate in a deck chair. After masturbating, she accidentally sees a couple fucking in a gazebo, and you are given the mission to take a selfie with them, but from an angle where they won't notice you. So the last mission in 2.2 is the second “Boss Fight,” where you play as the janitor and have to bring Sammy's mom to orgasm.

After the victory, a cinematic will be shown.
Samantha being seen by hidden cameras while engaging in exhibitionism in the city. She will attract the attention of the cops at the police department, who are watching the monitors and seeing everything she does. And the police have special plans for her. Сops watch the footage of her and receive an order from the police chief to find out who this girl is, what her name is, and where she lives. I already have the rest of the plot ready, but I won't reveal it so as not to spoil it.

NEW FEAUTURES

The most important innovation
is that you can finally have sex with Samantha, plus two new positions will be added—squatting and reverse cowgirl. They can be used both with Sam herself and in the mission about her mother and neighbor. Thus, there will be 5 positions in the game.

I thought long and hard about how to introduce sex with Sam into the game. I didn't want to make her some kind of slut who fucks everyone in sight. Samantha's mom is such a slut. So I thought, let Sam fuck the player. She talks to you all the time, so let her have s*x you too. She's like a digital girlfriend. But she'll only be ready for that when she's in a 100% mood, which will be difficult to achieve - I've adjusted the mood system.

This way, sex with Sam herself will be just a new option that you can use at will. I'll probably add some achievements and ranks for sex, but I don't have any good ideas yet.

Another new feature is that Sam can gain and lose weight depending on how much she runs and eats. She can look like a cow or an anorexic. I stole the idea from San Andreas, I really liked it in that game.

In addition, Sam's clothes now have separate bones, so they will be removed neatly with animation.


ADDING SAMANTA TO STEAM AND OTHER MAJOR PLATFORMS

In total, the first Steam version of the game for Steam will have 4 stages


1) Evening missions in Samantha's house and yard

2) Day missions at school and in the schoolyard

3) After-school missions at sunset in the subway

4) Evening missions in city locations

After checking for errors, the game will be published on Steam. Then I would like to focus on the serious development of two other games that I would like to concentrate on. After the release of the normal versions of these games, work on Samantha and her storyline will continue. Of course, I will publish version 2.2 here as well. There's no point in hiding it from pirate sites anyway.

Yes, there is. I want to save up money as quickly as possible to get my yacht license. I am highly motivated to work and delight you with a new version of Sam and two new games as soon as possible. Don't ask about the yacht and my motivation; it's a long story about my batting with chronic depression. I don't want to talk about it. It's too personal for me. Anyway, you'll get the normal version of Sammy soon. As well as the second game about sex with a bunch of girls. But there's a lot of work ahead. I think it will take a month to make the necessary adjustments to Sammy and the second game.

A small second-hand yacht with a small cabin, sufficient for normal living, will cost around 700-900 thousand Philippine pesos. The license courses cost only 25k + hotel room rental + meals. In general, there are no crazy prices. I just feel like I'm not doing right without it.

This could be great game. And I get you are a single human, trying to develop a huge game. And, I get the desire for financial renumeration. And, I get the most personal enjoyment is the artistic creation of missions, art, visuals, etc. BUT: It has to be playable by others if you want a successful game. Optimization is important, but its not the main criteria. Can't say what kind of feedback you're getting from Discord and Patreon users, 'cause I don't go to those. I only know what I've read here in this thread, and seen from my initial attempts to play on my (admitted) potato toaster of a computer.

YOU NEED TO GET BACK TO THE BASICS!!!

There are two basic complaints, the user interface, and bugs. IMHO, you need to take a breath. Disregard fans demanding you present progress on their timeline.

SUGGESTIONS: Go back to your first working proof of concept versions. Beg, borrow or steal a PC with less capabilities than your work machine. Play them. No, not playtest your code. Play the game as a game. Think about the UI, with all the new responses of NOT-YOU players you've heard. Is it easy to use? What do others think is wrong with it? I know you've made improvements, but are you just making stuff people didn't like work a little better, or actually trying to find a better method? I'm well aware, all the time you spend doing that, in the back of your mind, you're imagining new art, better missions, etc. but that's the kind of distraction you need to put aside.

Jot ideas down. Re-work the code in the early versions. Despite the fact you are seriously confusing people with your versioning numbers, you are still at the very beginning of constructing this game. You've released alpha versions, asking the players to be beta testors, when alpha is still your responsibility.

This sounds like a lot of boring work. It is. And in the process, you might find you need to totally rework your next release, delaying it by months. So be it. You will have a better game for it, as you have already fleshed out where you want the game to go, but with a truly playable experience. I would suggest you check out Crazybat's Coming of age [COA] thread. Coming up on nine years, a single developer doing it out of love. You're only a year or so in. In his early years, lots of criticism (including from me), but almost all the versions released in the last five years or so, are new content. No, its not a Unity game, its RPGM, but the only bugs being reported now are endemic to the engine, not his coding.

I'm sure it's fun, posting images of new ideas and concepts to this tread, but its time you're not spending on a GOOD game. While there are detractors opining about it being just another exhibition game, and it need this, it needs that, it's a great concept, and one many want to succeed. Its just not a GOOD game yet.

I know this all sounds harsh. Please don't take it personally. I want you and Samanta to succeed. You need to adjust your expectations.

I fully agree... It's like you've read my mind, and you put it into words. Last year, I think a lot of valuable time was wasted on creating customizations for Samantha with clothes, tattoos, hair, and breast sizes, etc. This development effort should've been spent fixing bugs and improving UI/UX, optimizing the game, creating content and missions, and making the game more fun and enjoyable.

There also needs to be a decision—Whether Samantha wants to be a hardcore RPG soulslike game, or simply a game for pleasure, because it currently leans heavily towards the former, where you have to manage her happiness, embarrassment, hunger, and other factors just to see the H-content properly. Speaking of H-content itself, a majority of it is just constant masturbation, which isn't really enjoyable after you see it once or twice. There's no handjobs or blowjobs, no breast groping, no fingering, or any nonconsensual encounters by perverts and molesters... It's like there is an entire open world created for Sam to explore, but at most, you can masturbate and strip dance, and that's all.

This game is also reaching its end of life, which is disappointing, as Anton wants to move on to the other two games that he's been working on, which would leave a lot of potential in Samantha that wouldn't materialize. I love the idea of this game, and if we could just roam the entire city, looking for H-scenes, doing dumb shit, meeting perverts, being an actual exhibitionist without any money, happiness, food, beer, or embarrassment or anything holding us back, this game would be far more enjoyable.
